Australia in India

Well, before signing off, I would have to say that this wasn't a completely depressing performance. We tightened up our middle-over bowling which means we just need to work on death-bowling and then we can actually chase something that is feasible.
But according to most of the Indians on here, 290 is a low target in India and was easily chaseable?

Don't ya just wish Punter would put on a more aggressive (sledging) bowler then Mitchell Johnson?

Binga, Roy?

Hogg seems to have bowled well, so has Lee looking at the figures.

Just off topic for a tick, Dean have you got any thunder near your joint? It just suddenly started here.

Well it would've meant more if Symonds was the one to knock Sreesanth's middle stump out of the ground and then do a little aeroplane spin while sticking his tounge out.

Great win for us :happy it could have been 3-0 by now :( 1st match, indian players didnt want to play

Bowled him. Middle stump out of the ground. Game over. Aussies 2-0. :)

No, the umpires just didn't let us.

Where's Pidge when you need him?

It's over, Australia win. Sreesanth the last man to fall to Stuart Clark.

Happy the most of the order made starts. Drop Hodge, it's a disgrace how he keeps a spot in this team. Haddin has been in fine form of late.

I saw a flash of something, wasn't sure what it was though. Can't hear anything though.

4 more games to go India could still bounce back but a well deserved victory for aussies..bowlers did a decent a job but our top order needs to be sorted out..lower middle order never contributed anything anyways so cant complain with that..kick out sharma bring back RP singh...let Ganguly open with sachin...thats it for now I will cry myself to sleep :crying

the only way i see india winning a match is if australia rest their big name players after winning the series and i am sure that will happen

The Aussie reserves are good enough I feel. India did stand a slight chance when Yuvi and Dhoni were at the middle, but in the end, Ponting's team was just too strong.

Good knock by Yuvi though, but I dont think he'll remember this for too long. As far the series is concerned, the aussies pretty much have it in the bag, although India should win atleast one game.

i cant believe that india have only selected murali kartik. shocked

Yuvraj's knock was a positive for india. I think one of the main problems with the batting is that the younger players can only get at most 50-60 against top attacks while its up to the big 3 (or in this game 2) to get a match winning century. He's proving to be india's number 4. I think Dravid should be dropped. Sharma blew his opportunity. Compare this with Shah in the last ODI series where he made a career saving century. Pathan is not an all-rounder. Treat him like a bolwer who can bat a bit, like Khan and Lee.

That's 2 now. I expect every Aussie to give me a detailed record of what they were doing at that time. It is part of my anthropological project which secretly leads up to my project of world domination.

I was having dinner, I watched some other TV then just logged on now to see the result, Iam pleased as well:)
