Australia in India

There we go, India batting first in a game they needed to win. Runs look plentiful when the ball is in the outfield, but Bracken and Lee will be determined.

Bracken all over the Indian batsman early.

Tendulkar was OUT.

Perfectly right. I cant believe how Tendulkar survived that. I closed my eyes immediately after Tendulkar played that, and to my disbelief saw Bucknor unmoved.

A total of 270+ will be challenging if India get to it. The wicket is expected to get drier and slower, and will help spinners later. India need a good total here.

Oh god! Second life for Sachin! Come on Tendiya! Grab these pieces of luck!

Yeah, the key is definitely a big total. From what we've seen, 250 would be iffy.

Ganguly and Tendulkar holding onto their wickets so far, but they are struggling to get bat to ball. Admittedly, few opening pairs have an easy ride out of Bracken and Lee.

Tendulkar finding some fortune in his pads.

Third life that was according to Hawk Eye. The ball was hitting middle of leg stump.

So far, poor umpiring. If Tendulkar gets a big one, I am sure he wont be too happy

Tendulkar got out 3 times so far in this match. He can't tell LBW's, but it was abnormal seeing him not walk for the inside edge that he survived. He normally walks.

Cant blame him for that. He is not Adam Gilchrist.

Its embarassing for a Sachin fan to see Sachin struggle like this. I feel his time is up (the signs are getting clear). Its humiliation and Lee is taking part in it.

Ganguly, however, is playing well!

He almost chopped it on, that time!
Cmon Sachin, you're a legend. You can do it!

What a great shot! Clipped down to fine leg..Oh! Sweetness!

Talk about a one sided partner ship
Aussies are really losing control over line and length! Never seen such disarray from them.

Ganguly is almost playing well. He's getting fours, but completely missing a lot of deliveries.

The key is (although you might say Tendulkar should be gone many times over) that India have, unlike the practices of a certain team named England, held their wickets. There is always a chance for a fight back so long as you don't get out. Will James Hopes bowl as well? What about Hogg or the part-time spinners? Johnson can certainly be attacked. Even Lee and Bracken are only human.

Maybe they'll just attack right now.

Ganguly is doing OK here. Sachin is still struggling. Ideal thing to do is go after the bowling and try to be positive now. If he is out, no big deal. If he clicks, good for him and the team.

Tendulkar is trying to get some runs here. May be its time to open up for them. And its a comforting thought to have no wickets fall yet and India score 40+ at close to 4 runs per over.

Finally a confident shot for one from Sachin.
He should just blast in the remaining power plays. Just like what Sai said.

You can see he's trying to get some deliveries away, but it's just not clicking!

The field looks really spread out for a PP. No slips in.
