Australia in India

Woah, Hodge is playing again?
WOW! I thought for sure Haddin would get a chance. What is all that about?

I've lost interest in the 50 over game. I couldn't get myself to sit and watch the full 50 overs.

Must be the T20 hangover, but I have absolutely no interest in the result of this series (and even if India do well from now on). It seems meaningless compared to the real deal - Test cricket.

That's the reason for my lack of posts here on this forum. I just had nothing to say ;)

Naw,
Yuvraj's innings in the last ODI was just class. You can't say that was boring.

I tell you, I didn't watch the matches ;) Couldn't get myself to and didn't even watch the highlights (in spite of Yuvraj's innings).

It must have been great though.

But how can someone who saved Aus twice and got MOTM be giving way to...this!?!?

"The Aussie Selectors theory"
Going against Haddin is he is a keeper and Hodge has some brownie points. For me this isn't enough, I would have had Haddin in the last game but I'm not the selector...

this is the most boring batting display in recent memory...runrate would have been well below 4 if it wasnt for those extras

31 extras...aussies have gifted away another 10 overs, judging by tendulkar's strikerate

I am close to agreeing. I am watching these games just because its India and I watch every India game unless I am too financially weak to purchase the series. I watched some other countries T20 and they were interesting. After the T20 World Cup, I have found 50 over cricket to be boring.

Edit: Superb Yuvraj! Two fours in that Hogg over!

Yeah, but the pace of the game compared to T20 is slow enough to bore you if you had lots of fun with T20 (which I did). Got to check if interest in tests remain.

Edit: Sachin's 50. Stood in manfully, got a 50 for his efforts coupled with luck.

What's the slowest 50 in ODI cricket?

There must be slower ones than this 50 of Sachin. As I say, wonderful shot from Sachin for four!

Yuvraj is starting to fire not looking good for us. Our bowling has been exposed today, we needed Clark's magical wickets. Bracken is having one of his off days he sure does go for some runs when he isn't on his day not what you would expect from a guy with his pace.

Bracken was too predictable in that over with the first 5 balls all being the same slower paced mostly off spinner ones. The runs are now coming in a much better and more freer flow.

Any predictions?
I say 310.

Impossible! I would say 270+ if these two guys stay for a good time.
