Australia in India

Any reason why Sachin isn't skipper? Is he a good leader?

What about Ganguly?

Dang.
I was looking forward to some fireworks from UV.
Who do you guys think will come now? Irfan, to keep the left/right stuff going?

Why would you send some one like Irfan when we have power hitters like Dhoni and Uthappa to take advantage of the final set of overs of the innings.

Quite a poor leader. Has a very bad record, and he puts too much pressure on himself when he captained the side (something that Srinath justified in one of his interviews).

Ganguly has been India's best captain and can lead the side now. But Dhoni is young, and should be given chances at the job. He has shown promise.

India should really be aiming at 300 with the wickets in hand, ect.
They shouldn't lose their grapple!

I think Dhoni is a good captain. He may be an overrated batsmen for his hit and miss fireworks, but he has inspiration on the field. Even if he looses the series, I don't think it should come down to his captaincy inasmuch as that we were outperformed in the bowling department especially (even though we're making strides to shorten the gap in the bowling department compared to other countries.)

this is the problem with our seniors, they start enjoying their defensive play :brickwall

tendulkar's strikerate was almost 90 once..now its gone down to 85 :crying

The is the shot of a majestic batsman. Getting down on one knee and playing a superb lap sweep past short fine leg for four. Sure got the Aussies excited.

4 boundaries off the last 8 balls.... acceleration ON!

Symo, trying it against Tendulkar??? Try it, it will be fun (for us probably).

Oh my god. This is awesome batter. Tendulkar just shocks me.... He's so good!
