Should have tried Bracken he is more effective at getting bat on ball than Lee. Lee is very hit and miss as we just saw. We really needed Haddin's late hitting this was his scene.

Hodge is has no flair in ODI cricket, he just seems to bat too slowly for Australia, and he often gets out in the process too.

Game entirely went against Australia, they did really well to get so close.

Hayden was easily the best player on the ground today, played superbly and proved once again why his one of the great allround batsman to ever grace the game.

He made his half-century in basically the same time as Dhoni and made twice as many runs as him. The last game Yuvraj should've gotten it over Symonds, the guys who are deciding these awards really need to pull their heads in.

Big wicket was Hayden. But the biggets moment IMO was when Bracken conceded 20 off the last over. I think Binga should've been bowling instead of Bracken. He onyl went at 3.5 from his 7 overs. 50 less runs than Bracken in only 3 less overs.


And all the extras! What the hell!?! We really need to get this sorted out before the next match. We've bowled too many extras lately. Especially wides.

Nowadays the batsman are dancing down the pitch so often i think a beamer should be allowed if they advance

That's rubbish though. Dhoni's contribution wasn't enough to overshadow Hayden's innings considering Hayden reached Dhoni's end of innings score in exactly the same time as Dhoni did.

Doesn't impress me when players from the winning side get man of the match on the purpose that they were the best player on the winning side.

BTW, Ponting has a right to be angry. It's really tight and you can't tell if his foot's over or not. Decision should've gone in benefit of the batsman.
