Thanks, treva.

Yeah, Hughes is rated something ridicolous on the game, but aye, if he's there then I'm going to exploit his greatness. Sorta like how Michael Munday had been exploited on previous ICC versions.

Just realized I forgot to post the write up to the 3rd Test lol So will do that before updating about the ODI series (in which Pakistan is actually putting up a fight:noway).

Lol, I have swine flu man. No post of mine is going to be longer then 3 lines. I am a mess at the moment! I will update when I overcome my illness. :(

Pakistan Restore Some Pride

106365.jpg

A fighting half century from Akmal helps Pakistan win the 3rd Test

A man of the match performance from Pakistani keeper, Kamran Akmal has helped Pakistan win the 3rd and final test match in the series. Two half centuries, including an unbeaten 86 ensured Pakistan piled on enough runs to allow the bowlers to bowl Australia out comfortably. The Aussie batsman made promising starts in both innings with no batsman able to follow on with a century. Mitchell Johnson claimed series best figures however with 7/83 in what was one of very few highlights for the Aussies. The inclusing of Shane Watson was a good one, with Watson snaring 4/99 in the second innings. Australia finish the series winners however, taking the series 2-1.

Shane Watson was solid at the top of the order, replacing the out of sorts Katich

Player of the Series: Mitchell Johnson, 1 Century (111), 1 Half Century (51*), 1 5-fer w/ 19 wickets @ 23.56

With the conclusion of the Test series, the 5 match ODI series begins.

Surely you only beat Pakistan 2-1, which would mean your title is wrong? ;)

Just the one hundred in that entire game. Quite surprising really considering the scores.

Oops yeah, will change that.

Yeah, no hundreds but a lot of starts.

Pakistan Demolish Aussies

102644.jpg

Australia in all sorts of trouble as Clarke goes for 10, leaving the Australians at 4/37

Pakistan has taken the momentum from the last Test and cemented the ODI series victory today as they defeated the Australians by 3 wickets. The Australians, after losing the first ODI by 8 wickets and the second by 5 wickets, went into this match knowing only a win was acceptable. The top order crumbled terribly to be 4-37 after the second powerplay with Umar Gul destroying every batsman in his path. A captain's innings from Ponting, 106, made sure the score got somewhere respectable as he and Mike Hussey, 82*, got Australia to a decent total of 252. Pakistan didn't have too many troubles reaching the target, losing wickets at regular intervals but made sure they had enough batting in the lower order to steer them home. Australia now only have pride to play for as the team is surely destined for a bit of a shake up after 3 straight losses.

ODI Form a Worry Says Captain

104592.jpg

A worried Ponting watches on as his troops lose another ODI

Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting says his teams ODI form is a worry but they should take this series loss on the chin and improve for the series against the West Indies coming up.

"After such a big series loss at home I know there are going to be a lot of questions raised as to how we are going to improve for the arriving West Indians - we just have to go back to the nets and I'm sure Coach Timmy Nielsen has sat down with some of the players already to address some of the problems were having at the moment"

Shane Watson, who has kept injury free, celebrates a century in the 4th ODI v Pakistan

Australia lost the ODI series just passed, 4-1, with the only victory coming in the 4th ODI when opener Shane Watson hit a magnificent unbeaten century after Mitchell Johnson rolled the Pakistanis. The series loss is a solid victory for the Pakistanis who haven't won on Australian soil for over a decade. The next ODI series, also consisting of 5 ODIs comes against the West Indies who boast batsman, Gayle, Sarwan, Chanderpaul and Bravo. With a batting line up like this, the Australian bowlers won't be finding things any easier.

Player of the Series: Umar Gul, 13 wickets @ 26.94
