Nice start to the tour for Warner a 50 and still going. Not so for Watson and Wade was pretty slow in his 30, he'll need to fix that up if he wants to stay up as opener or at least convert it.

Promising signs for at least most of a game to be played today. If they're not delayed by overnight rain, then they might get through to the mid afternoon before being forced to come off. In such a circumstance, it would be brilliant if they simply decided to play 40 overs and alter the lunch break accordingly.

Perfect start and dare I say vintage Lee. 90 mph and the lefties just couldn't cover off stump.

Glad I'm not the only one...I thought I was seeing things when I looked at the pic from the other side of the room :lol

Caught a few overs last night, and yep it was good to see Binga steaming in, 92mph I think was his top speed - and of course most importantly, being on the money with his bowling. Looks like they'll have to play the same XI again next match vs Essex - these guys barely got a run. Cummins was accurate and fast, but didn't seem to move the ball at all. Could have been water logged though...it's a miracle they got 10 overs.

I thought that was what was so good about Lee's spell. There wasn't a lot of nip or swing on offer, just enough and he bowled spot on at the best possible time.

It's gloomy out there, good toss for the Aussies to win anyway.

Is it just me, or do the English ODI kits look odd...
