I have a feeling that Australian is under prepared for this tour a lot of them including Steve Smith was playing BBL like 2 weeks before, they even rejected the warm up that was to offer because it was played on a green track.

On contrary in 2017 they had a 2 week camp in Dubai played a match against India A in Mumbai at the CCI.

And the results were dividend as well they won the first test on a raging turner in Pune.

Still pretty early in the series but thats just how I feel after seeing their batters play spin in the first innings they are just too unsure about it.

Australia really were pitiful here with the exception of Murphy and Boland, but I do think getting rolled by arguably the greatest bowling squad ever assembled* is forgivable

* I'm including Bumrah in the wider squad even if he's not currently being used
