Zimbabwe tour of West Indies 2013

Shivnarine Chanderpaul has played 65 more tests and has scored 7 652 more runs than the entire Zimbabwe team.

If ZIM could tempt Anthony Ireland, Sean Ervine, Gary Ballance, Colin de Grandhomme back from ENG/NZ & maybe also tempt Tatenda Tiabu out of retirement, they could POSSIBLY get the basis of decent team together.

Not going to happen anytime soon. :( Whilst ever Craig is in the team though, I'd like to think that Sean might return one-day. Was told that he was at the ground for the first day, watching his brother play. Hampshire are doing training over in the Caribbean apparently. :)

I can't see this test match going beyond 3 days to be honest. Zim have been so poor with the bat against spin, so dissapointing after a promising start on the opening day.

Shame for the zimmers, they were in a competitive position when Chanderpaul was out at 151/6. From there the windies added 156 for the last four wickets and have the zimmers 41/3.

Didn't Ervine make himself available then do a u-turn to focus on county cricket?!?!? :( That is a real shame, his country needs him more than his county

It's not a matter of choosing county over county; he chose the best option, to support his family. Most cricketers in Zimbabwe have to find work as well as play cricket, unless they come from a wealthy family. Until there is stability in Zimbabwe, I can understand players picking money ahead of playing for their country.

When are we playing against Zim? It will be 15 all out test match will be over on day. They are 54/5 currently

There is this add song on tv that goes like this

Shop where everyone else shops South Africa.

Another massive collapse, and bad loss. Really thought the middle & lower-order would put-up more of a fight. Maybe that was just wishful thinking. At least Tendai Chatara can hold his head up high; he bowled well in his first match.

Zimbabwe struggling...again, Taylor really needs to play a captains innings and score a hundred.

Can't believe they dropped Price. Utseya isn't a test bowler, and hasn't been in good form for a while now. They need to make sure they respect Price, otherwise he'll retire or leave like everyone else. :(

Yeah I was surprised they dropped Price (injury maybe?) but once again the batting was poor. Vusi Sibanda played brilliantly with some real class shots but got out cheaply, and same for Taylor who looked set but decided to play a reverse sweep when should have played defensively.

I expect WI to pile on the runs tomorrow and then bowl Zim out cheaply on day 3.
