Curious why Shami is not playing... Umesh is good but he has a knack of leaking runs. I'd have played KLR (yes...the disgraceful BKL) as middle order batsman by benching Shami/Umesh on this track

Shami’s rested it seems. God knows why you’d rest your best pacer with the series still not won and having another test to go if it was about workload management but okay.

If we win this one, they will rest Shami from the next as well. Thakur will come in, seeing as they want a green top+ match practice for our #1 seamer outside of India.

I think there will be an Aussie collapse somewhere in the next 10-15 overs. India is being aggressive and the Aussies have latched onto that opportunity. Instead of playing themselves in, they have opted to attack a bit. My estimates point towards a 20 run lead for Australia here.
