Australia tour of New Zealand 2010

I can't see Ingram lasting long.

What did I say? He needs to be dropped for Williamson in the next test :D

It doesn't take a psychic to predict that :laugh. Ingram's a hack.

Nah man, no Williamson. One more season for test cricket. ODI cricket at most for now. Don't rush it with him. Could leave him mentally scarred coming up against Harris, Johnson and Bollinger.

Come on Roscoe. Take it to that fat, ugly bastard Bollinger.

If Williamson does play it wont be at three, that's for sure. Gotta bat him at five/six when he comes into the team.

Yea, and Guptill would probably move back to 3. But I suppose they will definitely consider Sinclair for the next test.

Ha, no matter how much you try and spin it and try to come up with different teams the New Zealand test team is going to be very poor for a very long time. We have no bowlers that I feel could come in and do well to begin with and it's going to be at least two/three years before Southee, Boult and Wagner the real young bowlers going around will be international test standard.

I have faith in Ryder, Taylor and Williamson so they'll make up the middle order for years too come but we are going too need the likes of Watling, Guptill ect to get a move on and develop into international batsmen.

Possible future team:
Myburgh?
Watling
Williamson
Taylor
Ryder
Guptill
McCullum
Vettori
Wagner
Southee
Boult

As bad as Mills is in tests, surely he's better than Southee.

Hauritz will want to frame that, what a ball. Looked good like since Taylor was offering no shot, thank God for the UDRS.

Geez this is a pretty inexperienced and not very great Aussie attack, Williamson should play, its not McGrath and Warne he has to face.

Taylor out, I dont see at all why is a supposed good player, in tests or odi's. Hits a few fours but has no concentration or even a brain half the time.

Geez, that's a bit harsh?

It's good to see that we haven't lost a wicket yet.

Edit: How come the posts weren't merged?

20 minutes is the required difference I believe.

Well we dont have a great attack, miles from it actually, not harsh at all to say that. We have a good attack right now, and they are in form. Still we have 3 bowlers who are finding their way in test cricket, NZ couldnt ask for a better chance to debut young players against Australia.

TBH that's something we should have done this summer, against the WI, Pakistan and NZ.

Clint McKay a bit harshly treated by the selectors?

He's tied with Vettori for best test batsman in the New Zealand side averaging 56 in the last 12 months (9 tests with 2 hundreds and 5 fifties, including an 81, 94 and 97). I suppose that says a lot about his concentration levels but he's come on leaps and bounds and can only get better. He's still a very immature batsman but he's starting to assume a little more responsibility with the role of vice captaincy now.

Anyways, off to bed. No reason to watch if Taylor's not playing. Don't think I can bear to watch McIntosh any longer.
