Australia tour of New Zealand 2010

Think he might have been talking about the covers been blown away and one of your ground staff 'bull' riding it.

Very solid start by NZ, Vettori might not looking pretty but his technique is dam effective. McCullum playing a sensible innings which seems to be working.

Hahaha, I'm available for Summit tea party.. Jason Eatons an idiot!

We shouldn't lose a referral for that, there was no virtual on offer. LBW should basically be taken out for the time being.

That is a bloody out :facepalm stupid weather

WORLD CHAMPIONS added 18 Minutes and 33 Seconds later...

Finally a wicky :D Hauri .... you beauty :banana

If the weather keeps like this we could draw the test :O

They're just going on and off...on and off...

Hmm, if there is no more play today and NZ bat until halfway through the 2nd session tomorrow there might be a slight chance of a draw.

Big IF that is

Tuffey proving handy with the bat in the form as well. Need Bollinger back up to full pace again as hes been our most threatening this test.

That was so hilarious when that guy got owned by the covers slipping out from under him. Also when they guy was holding the cover and went flying away. Amazing no one got badly hurt. That was some major wind.

Great day for us. McCullum batted superbly as did Vettori who was a bit unlucky to get out to such an innocuous ball. Puts us back in the game somewhat. If the weather helps enough and we can set another 100odd runs we might be able to get away with a draw. Especially if we can bowl well at Australia at the top of the innings and put them under pressure.

They're still firm favorites though.

The roller moving was pretty funny too, don't need the ground staff in Wellington just like mother nature do the work ;)

We've given ourselves a good chance to save the Test and maybe even get into a position where we can put them under pressure to possibly even win the Test.

Yeah right, win the test

I like the attitude. As unlikely as it is, it's the right attitude to have. If they're not out there trying to win the game than they're obviously going to play half arsed.

Props to McIntosh.
