There was a lot of talk from the selectors about not wanting to expose him to international cricket at such a young age. And then they go and name him anyway. I'm not complaining, I want him to play. Let's see if he can hold his own against Australia.

Hope all this expectation on him doesn't affect his performance if he debuts. Another thing is, they've still retained Ingram in the squad. I doubt he'll get a go. The Aussies have worked him out and his lack of footwork doesn't help.

If he plays Kane should really just play his shots. Not use hanging back and putting pressure on himself when there's already this much expectation on him. Unless the score is 4/150 or something, I'd be wanting him to take it up to the Australians.

I didn't think they were adding a fast bowler? Tuffey out for Williamson (though that is a rather strange swap)

They didn't need to put another fast bowler in as Patel is more than likely gonna play. If he doesn't Williamson will become the 2nd spinner or Guptil/Taylor will or Sinclair will be a seam bowler.
