Australia tour of South Africa, 2008/09

LOL no more referrals left for SA. Its gonna be a long match for them. Pitch is flat so getting 20 wickets will be very hard. But if we can get a big score you just never know. Cmon Katman bat all day and lot more.

PS - South African commentators are a bunch of one-eyed *******

Ponting gone. 2 pretty rank shots in a row. Australia 250 all out, heard it here first :p

Also, I really don't like that South African commentator that was talking as Ponting hit the ball in the air, his voice is really annoying. The one with the gravelly voice, so annoying.

oh what was that punter ? :(

We better not let them get into the game here . Cmon Huss you wont get a better chance than this to get back in to form

I believe that would be Robin Jackman. All of em are annoying. 'Cept for Nicholas and Wessels. I liked Pommie, but he has been ultra bias today.

Ponting has lost his fight for his wicket of late, seems to throw his wicket away far too often lately. Here is Hussey chance to make a score if he can't do it here the knives will be sharpening.

Morkel gets Hussey LBW, but he's referred. I can't really see the point of referring an LBW unless he knows it's not out.

He's lucky. The 51% rule working in Hussey's favour. Not out.

The 51% rule is stupid. It should be out if any part of the ball has pitched in the 'red carpet area'. It is just too unfair for the bowlers.

Anyway happy that Hussey is still there. Hopefully this the break he needed.

Morkel will take a wicket with a ' no ball' soon , its only a matter of time.

He did that in the last game, got Siddle out with a no ball, but luckily for him got him out again next ball.

yeah true. But someone like Katich or Hussey won't make the same mistake that Siddle did. So Morkel better be careful.

Katfish gets the ton. :hpraise

You gotta be joking. Clarke pretty much missed a straight ball. Need a solid partnership here.

Games turning on it's head. Katich and Clarke out respectively. They can really come back if they take a few more quick wickets.

Aussies after a great start and looking like cruising to a score of 450+ are in danger of a big collapse.

Need North to bat well here again to take us to 400+

New ball due in few overs as well. Need Hussey and North to just get through this tough period.

There isn't really a 51% rule at all, it's just about where the centre of the ball lands. What you might call the equator of the ball hasn't made any contact with the pitch at all. So to the letter of the law, "pitching in line with the stumps" means to be certain that the exact point where the ball has landed is in front of the stumps.

Then when the ball gets down the other end, it's still about that point of contact, only this time, the point of contact can be any angle other than perpendicular to gravity.

Good fightback from the boys in the last session. First session tomorrow morning is key to this test and probably the series as well.

I thought kattich was out on his referral. I clear heard a noise on the replay and the bat was nowhere near the pad or ground, to me that was more out than the boucher one that got given last test. I though Hussey's decision was fine. Ball pitched outside on that.

Also if the SA commentators are biased than I don't know what to call the aussie commentators since they are 100% more in the aussie favor than the SA commentators are towards us.
