Jesus Christ this is great cricket, theres been more excitement in this morning than there has been the whole of the West Indies England series.
Nah, Joburg. This has given Australia way too much out of the toss, with the pitch being a dream to bat on yesterday.I urge the Windies groundmen to go to Durban and see what a proper pitch looks like.

That was my point, the pitches in the West Indies are confusive to exciting cricket, they should have more in it for the bowlers.
Pitch looks to be flattening out again. Just shows you where SA stuffed up yesterday, this is a new ball pitch and they wasted their first new ball.
Siddle definitely needs to come in, our big problem is the 4th bowling option as McDonald can keep it tight but probably won't cause the batters anywhere near the problems of our 3 front line bowlers.
Is it ever going to offer South Africa the flatness of day one? The batsmen are still copping the ball on their gloves, which happened maybe once or twice yesterday. Due to the heat, the pitch turned up a day early and was too dry for day one. In the context of comparison, it's not the best example of a sporting pitch. A good game to watch, but tougher for one of the two teams.Although how much was that to do with the SA bowling? Both these two are bowling with the sun on their back so it's nothing to do with the overcast conditions. The pitch might have quickend up a bit but certainly doesn't look like it is a 9 fer pitch in 1 and a bit sessions.
