Australia tour of South Africa, 2008/09

I sense a run out. Suprisingly the two NSW boys dont run well together. Good to see no wicket. If we can get to 150 by over 25 with at most 2 wickets down (minimise damage) we'd be in a good position. Clarke is playing and missing a few. Need him to just turn the strike.

Clarke slowing us down again. Haddin was striking at 130, whilst Clarke was striking at 70.

Haddin is slowing down now, currently at 117 and Pup is at 74. Still miles too slow.

An out batsman can't increase his strikerate. As it is, this partnership is delivering what is needed. Clarke's strike rate is a secondary concern.

Haddin is playing a gem of an innings. But if he goes Ferguson should come after Ponting.

EDIT: Haddin living dangerously. Gone now.

It's good to Australia is giving a good fightback. Haddin deserves a century by now.

And just as I said that, Haddin is out for 78 runs by Botha.

Serves him right; this diving is pissing me off. Should have dug your spikes into him, Rick. :P Nah, he's bowling well.

Yeah, I thought something was wrong there, a wicket hadn't fallen in the first few overs and the run rate was over 3. ;)

Steyn gives Ponting a sendoff after Ponting had just annilated Steyn's bowling. I hope Johnson does to Steyn what he did to Steyn in the Tests.

It looks like this is going to be a third consecutive ODI series loss of Australia against South Africa. In the remaining 7 overs they'll be needing about 11 runs an over. That's a bit difficult task, I would say.

Proteas are lucky we are not playing with our full lineups, otherwsie we would have whip their ass off

Great series win for South Africa. Hopefully they won't take it easy in the last match.

Sour grapes! Grow up!

South Africa deserved this victory.. They played like a team and won like a team. Aussies though they had a great opening start, the middle order miserably failed. No more excuses. And that ODI where Aussies were all out for 100+ runs, no excuse for that either. South Africa outsmarted Australia in each and every department and hence the result. :hpraise

Well done, SA! :)
