Not talking about the flatness of the pitch. But the grassless conditions which are condusive to spin.. and your blokes are the better spinners and players of spin. Precisely what I mean by a doctored pitch. Your countryman also agrees with this.

Your countryman also agrees that the visiting team to the sub continent should have the option of bowling or batting first. This would take out of the equasion to an extent the need to prepare a pitch to suit the host. Thus a leveler playing field.
