Bailey has 4 wickets on return geez why didn't SA play him more this season.
Good old Mail performs when his spot is under threat, still can't believe Steven Smith isn't in the side seeing how well he went with both bat and ball in the 2nd 11 match.
5/90 in the end, including the key wickets of Martin Love and Andrew Symonds. However, the big test for him as a spinner is taking the ball on day 4 and getting them a win.

I like to think players come back stronger after being dropped. If a guy misses only a single game, there's just not as much to desire as when many have been missed. Plus, it's hard to imagine anyone actually technically improving their game in a couple of weeks. A big improvement is going to require a big effort. Hopefully both Cosgrove and Bailey have found potency enough to run hard to the end of the season.

Yep Bailey big test will be bowling SA to victory or at least taking wickets on this last day.
McKay continues to impress taking 3-29 after 23 overs. If we are looking for a Clark replacement he could be the next in line.

NSW collapse terribly, losing 4-8 at one stage and are currently sitting at 8-195, still 23 runs in arrears with only 2 wickets in hand and a whole day tomorrow. We need a pretty big stand here, and lots of rain.

NSW have lost already by an inns and 2 runs. Hasting stepped up as a bowler along with McKay with Nannes and Harwood performing. Certainly some good depth in the Victorian bowling ranks.

The Cricket Australia. It says we are all out for 213 in the little selection to choose which game to check out, I click it and it says we are 0-35 off 14. I went to cricinfo, then the aussie bit and it only has the end of Vics innings =/

Yea they gave the extra 30 minutes of play. Hasting cleaned up the tail, ending with a 5 fer. Good to see him getting a good run, NSW certainly could use him back now.

We have pretty good bowling back up, but with Lee, Clark, Bollinger, Hauritz, Bracken, Henriques etc all out.

To be fair, I wouldn't count Lee and Clark as one of our bowlers. Bollinger, Hauritz, Bracken, Henriques, Bird, Cameron, Cockley, Lambert and Casson for me are our bowlers for me. With Dougie and Bracken away on international duty it is annoying. We have Hazzlewood on the sidelines though.

Fancy us rolling NSW by an innings with our two best bowlers injured after bowling less than 20 overs between them. Doesn't say much for the NSW batting depth.

Great to see John Hastings bowl well, and Clint McKay continuing his rise in the FC form of the game. Looks to be a very promising bowler, wouldn't be surprised if he ended up playing test cricket for Australia someday.

Cosgrove continues his form, got a few lives, but it was a fast scoring and cavalier effort that was worth the risks. I'm not sure Queensland have hired the guns to chase it, even though the Redbacks have put together an unproven attack, without names such as Tait, Cleary, Rofe, Cullen, Bailey or Wise. It will be interesting to see the newcomer Peter George.

George could stand to gain a yard of pace, but he bowls an elegant stock ball, just probing away outside off stump. If he could get it closer to off, he could make a batsman nervous.
