Australian Domestic Cricket

I see Katich is making a last ditch effort for the opening spot. Just need a few more runs declare overnight and go for it tomorrow.

Any hope Hodge had are total gone now.

Katich & Haddin: 297* for the 5th wicket

Katich: 192 runs in 151 balls
Haddin: 104 runs in 176 balls

and Haddin took 131 balls to make 50.

He played well in English county cricket aswell.

You don't often see a triple century in Australian domestic cricket.

I don't see Mitchell Johnson playing in the first test now though, lol.

If he continues this form he should move up to next in line for batting jumping ahead of Hodge in the queue.

Bit worrying seeing both Johnson and Lee being smashed around in this game.

Hodgy :D

He is in terrible form.

Crap! Katich! OMG! 255 with 9 sixes!

Matt will be having a field day at the cricket!

100 for Haddin. Carrying over the form he had in India.

At the start of the day NSW were: 3/151

Lunch: 4/259 (Katich 104* Haddin 14*)

Tea: 4/523 (Katich 287* Haddin 102*)

Since lunch there have been 36 overs and 264 runs at a rate of 7.3 an over.

I wish... was sick this morning.

Great stuff by Katich though. 275 runs in a session we scored.

A flat wicket and bad fielding will do that, though. Still, if the spots really weren't yet decided, Johnson is a long way from certain. Tait has bowled at below top pace so far, but has nevertheless been strong for South Australia. He and Hilfenhaus will have an opportunity to get good figures through this week.

Yea true although they will more than likely hit a few flat pitches against the Indian batters so they better get use to bowling on these type of pitches. Will be hard to compare what Hilfy/Tait do as they will more than likely get bowler friendly conditions.

The Kat's on a mission.Played well all year at Derbyshire and looks like he's continuing on with it.

WA wins convincingly. Looks like we are going to move on from that NSW match...
Hogg gets a five fer!

Was a very good all round game from Hogg. Certainly is making a late push for a spot.

Simpson batting has really come along this season, his bowling hasn't been too bad either. Clark showing why hes the best fast bowler in Australia.
