Australian Domestic Cricket

QUINEY! Man I love his work, poor bugger, almost saw it home. Saved his ass though for a few matches though, great performance in this match.

Might be his time to live up to his potential, has been a relatively quiet career so far with the odd show of brilliance.

NSW Ryobi squad Clark, S (c)

Forrest
Hauritz
Henriques

Jaques

Maddinson

Rohrer

Khawaja and Copeland dropped from the side, fair enough as both seem to have struggled to adapt to the shorter format.

Doherty produced the vital late breakthrough, Wade drove and was swallowed up at slip by Cosgrove. To be brutally honest, he'd been doing that for 150 odd balls, having been dropped on 20 and 48. Like the thylacine, his survival was cause of frustration for Tasmania. Needless to say, the 141 run 6th wicket partnership was effective.

Bwahaha :D Nicely done.

Wow, seemed like an epic Shield match. Just what cricket needs, a great four day match! Luke Butterworth really was playing like he had purpose.

Also Zexy, if you go to Fox Sports | Fox Sports, Fox Sports News, Australian Sport | FoxSports, they have a live stream of the shield matches.

Here is a more direct link. Actually it seems this live stream is a new move of Cricket Australia. Someone should put this link on the first post:

New South Wales' batting looks weak apart from their openers. They'll need to rely heavily on Jaques now, or some big hitting from Henriques.

Yep Maddinson looks to be a gun talent, just one of those consistent run getters and at such a young age. Batting certainly doesn't look as strong but it bats all the way down to 11.

Oh dear, that was unfortunate haha.

OH MY tweaking GOD ABBOTT IS NOT DEBUTING, SOMEBODY TELL THEM PLEASE

lol Henriques drives; Blewie describes it as a beautiful shot for no run. Next ball he just blocks it to mid off, somehow beats the man and it goes for 4. Circle of life.

Good ball from Boyce, right on the coaster, turns away, Henriques is stumped. NSW still only need 22, but considering that the tail starts with Forrest, I'd offer that Queensland are in with a shot.

Interesting to see how Ferguson struggled in the domestic scene but has done much better in ODIs. He moves into the 90s now.

Over 54.5: Johnson to Ferguson, FOUR, shot of the day, just leans into a glorious cover drive into the gap once again

:clap
