Australian Domestic Cricket

Roy hasn't done too much with the bat in the 20/20 matches against the Knights but his bowling has been alright. First game was embrassing for the Knights all out for 79 which Queensland chased with ease then the revised the total to 179 and again they chased it with ease.

2nd match was a last ball thriller where a Symonds runout could have tied the game for the Bulls. Cutting and Symonds the pick of the bowlers and Simpson carried his bowling form from last match into batting form this match.

Firstly, you mentioned Jaques and Clarke, what about Clark, Lee, Bracken, Katich etc? They are all big name players, who this season will hardly get a game.

And I am looking forward to seeing Phil Hughes more than Thornley, Thornley is crap, and if we had a full strength line up, he would struggle to make the team, let alone lead.

He does that all the time. He has copied about 15 other threads from other people as well, onto other forums.

Also Bracks will get more games as he a 'ODI Specialist' also Phil Hughes will get 1000 runs this season at least he's a class act

How about Western Australian ?

They got big star e.g ronchi , pomersbach , Vogas , marsh and hussey plus a lot youth player like as marsh brother will play correct soon ?

Yep marsh brother Mitchell Marsh i root for WA they will win at least 1 tourney i think FRC or KFC Big Bash they can win the Sheffield Shield if they big names get many runs and at least Marsh and Ronchi will play for them for large periods of the year

NSW 12 man squad for the WA

Dominic Thornely (capt), Nathan Bracken, Aaron Bird, Mark Cameron, Peter Forrest, Nathan Hauritz, Phillip Hughes, Grant Lambert, Stephen O'Keefe, Daniel Smith, Steven Smith, David Warner.

No Herniques :( Looks a bit long in the bowling department unless Lambert has improved his batting enough to be classed as a batter.

Pre season match
Queensland 6-310 (dec) (Love 107, Perren 59, Simpson 43)
NZ emerging players 6-204 (dec) (Ryder 60, Brant 3-24, Harris 2-64)

Perren and Simpson certainly have had a good start to the season.

Grant Lambert over Henriques? I cant believe that.

Also Aaron Bird? He didn't play much last year if my memory is correct.

The batting is very short, thats a worry.

Hughes
Lambert (he opens in grade)
Forrest
Thornley
D. Smith
O'Keefe
S. Smith
Hauritz
Bird
Bracken
Cameron

12th man Warner.

That would be our most likely squad... 4 Pace bowlers and 3 spinners!?! (O'Keefe is a spinner right?) Thats 7 bowlers and to be fair O'Keefe and Steven Smith arent the best batters....

What's wrong with Smith? He was the leading run-scorer and the second-highest wicket-taker in grade cricket. Hes a real talent for us and with more matches he should stump his authority. I would say hes our best hope for a future spinner. Bird certainly generated some pace before he got in trouble with the bowling authorities, will be interesting seeing how he goes.

Really? Wow, I didn't think Smith was a good batter. Well in that case he will probably bat at 5 with Daniel Smith at 6 and O'keefe at 7.
