Australian Football Thread

LOL I always used to watch the A-League. I suppose now it gets in the way of AFL etc.

Michael Theoklitos has been told he can leave the theatre of dreams. :laugh

I've seen the highlights of the Norwich vs Colchester game. Average keeping but there was some some VERY poor defence. That backpass back to Theo was horrible. The last goal the player in the centre of the box wasn't even being marked, Fifa 08 anyone?

One goal was actually his fault and that was the fifth goal. I can't believe you said four goals was his fault. :facepalm

That was not good. We lacked Cahill. Without Cahill, Breciano had free reign to do what he wanted - and all he wanted to do was lob the ball into Kennedy. Along the ground for McDonald much?

Feelin Blue? added 1 Minutes and 15 Seconds later...

I remember seeing it a while ago, but I don't really remember the goals. I didn't realise it was Theo tbh, but I thought the defence was ordinary.

We lacked a defence. Without our first team in defence we just lack it. Steffanuto can go fearsome tweak himself.

Rofl Reece, you spell it Rhys. ;)

I think it's because North has been playing in Korea with a club there so he wouldn't be jet lagged or anything. The only thing was is that, he's crap.

Same name lol.

He hasn't been playing much for his club anyway. And if he does I don't think it's at right back.

The first goal was a shocking backpass but Theoklitos should have done better at punching it away. Instead, he missed it completely. The second one, he should have parried it further away instead of right into the path of the striker. I'll let him off the third. The next was a good free kick so I'll let him off that too. The fifth he should have come out to collect. The sixth again I'll let him off because it was a good strike. The last goal he should have been quicker to the man in the box before he passed it back. So that's 4 goals that were his fault.

His fault if your harsh enough, which you understandly are being a supporter of the team he cost.

The last one was definetly not his fault. The man should have been marking the man in the middle. There were no goals solely his fault though. There was no bad fumbles or anything(England vs Croatia euro qualification I think, was the goalkeeper Carson?)
Anyway no goals like that.

Anyway he missed the transfer deadline so has to stay with us and slop it out in the reserves until January, or until he can find someone who wants to take him on loan.
