Wow! That card has been dominated by Gambhir alone. Hope the others play sensibly and build on this start!

thanks bala. guys just a quick question on my imaging. do you prefer the coloured background or the players i was using as backgrounds in the south africa games. unfortunatly i dont have the tools available to "bevel" edges like m_vaughan, brettlee and langer have at their disposal at the moment so any suggestions you guys have would help me help you :).

thanks
MWaugh

I didn't mind the players as the backgrounds but its up to you.
Exciting start to the test. Hopefully aussies can snag Sachin early.

I like your image presentations with a nice blend of real and ingame pics. Make the events seem all the more realistic.

Which image editing software do you use? I use Ulead Photoimpact nowdays.

Mate, your images are all of the top draw. I did like the blending of real pics and game snaps in your Aus - SA series. That looked like a new format - a MWaugh trademark, maybe..

Any way, whicj image editing software are you using. If you are using Adobe photoshop, I can assure you thats the best one around. All the bevelling and the works can be found under the swatches tab. all you need to do is load the different patterns from the drop downs there. Any help you need on that part, I will be too happy to help out.

Cheers!

Balaji.

India Lose Tendulkar - India 3/175

Brett Lee provided the breakthrough for Australia as India lost the key wicket of Sachin Tendulkar for a duck as India slipped to 3/175 only 2 overs after tea on the first day of play at the GABBA.

Paceman Lee provided the strikepower with pace as Tendulkar pushed forward to block a ball still young in his innings. This found the outside edge which flew to captain Ricky Ponting at second slip who took one of the early contenders for catch of the summer with a pearler to dismiss the worlds premier batsman without scoring.

The innings will now rest in the hands of former captain Sourav Ganguly (0*) and current captain Rahul Dravid (39*) to build a strong total.

Dravid Passes 50 - India 3/199

Indian captain Rahul Dravid continued on his prolific test run with another half century to take India to be 3/199 shortly after the tea interval. Dravid continued on from Gautam Gambhirs sensational century earlier in the day with a controlled half century.

Dravid Falls To Lee - India 4/210

Brett Lee took the crucial wicket of Indian captain Rahul Dravid to put India in a delicate position at 4/210. Dravid made a solid and stable 60 to once again provide the rock for the Indian batting lineup before he was caught by debuton Michael Hussey at square leg attempting to flick Brett Lee to fine leg.

Lee claimed his second huge scalp of the match after snaring dangerman Tendulkar for a duck. There will be now great pressure on wicketkeeper Dinesh Katrik and former captain Sourav Ganguly to resurect the total with only the bowlers to come.
