Shame Pakistan couldn't bat the enitre 50 overs. Also Katich's failure would be a cause for cheer for the Cosgrove supporters.

your very right bala. cosgrove and jacques will both be a chance for both the vb series and the west indies tour

Ponting Caught Down Leg Side - Australia 2/70

Australian captain Ricky Ponting couldnt emulate the efforts of his counterpart as he fell for 35 at the hands of Mohammad Sami. Ponting was eventually caught down the leg side by wicketkeeper Kamran Akmal attempting to glance a short ball to fine leg. Test hopeful Damien Martyn will now come to the crease with Australia in a strong position to do some damage.

Gilchrist Leads Assault - Australia 2/107 (20.0)

Adam Gilchrist has continued his great season with an unbeaten 45 from 47 balls to lead Australia to 2/107 at the 20 over point against Pakistan. Gilchrist has been supported by Damien Martyn (10 from 22 balls) as the pair are currently cruising above Pakistans 2/73 at the same point in their innings.

(Australia currently cruising in comparison to Pakistans slow start)

btw, what's this??

i dunno mate. i have the option to edit polls in the story section however it still seems to store the names of who has voted for them prior to me editing this. its something ill have to have a look at getting fixed. i know that there is another way to fix it but it results in me loosing all the number of people who have viewed the thread and resets it to 0
