the runrate is slowed a bit due to quick 3 wicktes!!!!
i think indians can pick singles and twos and boundaries of bad deliveries until 35th over so that the batsmen get well settled.....
well its turning to be a thrilling finish...As long as Dhoni is there, india is comfortable!!!!

Partners Go To Work - India 3/185

Mahendra Dhoni and V.V.S Laxman have set up and exciting finish in the second one day match against Australia with 83 run stand to leave India 3/185 after 30 overs. Dhoni has played the role of the blaster with 101 from 82 balls while Laxman has been the anchor with 43 from 48. The tourists need only 111 runs to win from the remaining 20 overs, a required run rate of only 5.55.

(The Indians have matched the Australian scoring performances)

(The worm keeps in line with the red line of Australia. If this pair remains at the crease victory will be a formality)

Laxman Does His Job - India 3/195

Middle order batsman V.V.S Laxman appeared to jusify his inclusion in the Indian one day squad with a supportive half century to help his team to 3/195. Laxmans unbeaten 50 came from only 52 balls as he supported Mahendra Dhoni in the Indians 295 run chase for victory.

Dhoni And Laxman Build - India 3/209

Mahendra Dhoni and V.V.S Laxman continued to play their way towards victory over Australia as they celebrated a vital 111 run partnership to take their side within sight of the 295 required for victory.

Symonds, So Close - 3/211

Andrew Symonds was only inches away from snaring the crucial wicket of Mahendra Dhoni. The part time off spinner appeared to have the opener trapped infront however the umpire didnt not agree, giving the Indians a significant advantage and the Australians a severe headache.

common dhoni..... India will be in comfortable position as long as Dhoni is batting like that....

Symonds Gets Revenge - India 4/216

Andrew Symonds seeked revenge on the Indian team after his LBW appeal was turned down after trapping Mahendra Dhoni on the pads. However V.V.S Laxman was the man to feel the force as he holed out to Brett Lee on the ropes at deep cover. After advancing down the wicket to Symonds, Laxman fell only metres short of the rope, completing his innings on the score of 55.

It was a fantastic support act by the 31 year old from Hyderabad, who took only 65 balls to be the second highest contributor in the innings.

Yuvraj Falls Early - India 5/231

Yuvraj Singh felt the effects of a lengthy innings before he entered the MCG as he fell cheaply to leave India under pressure at 5/231. After waiting for quite some time to enter the crease, Singh fell after facing only 8 balls and contributing 10 runs to the scorecard.

Yuvraj was caught by Adam Gilchrist as he looked to push the ball down the off side from a short pitched Andrew Symonds straight delivery. This puts further pressure on centurian Mahendra Dhoni and all rounder Irfan Pathan.

54 Required, 10 Overs To Do It - India 5/242 (40.0)

The Indian task is clear cut, 54 runs are required and 60 balls remain to achieve it in. After a cracking 132 not out from Mahendra Dhoni, the Indian team only needs 5.4 runs per over to complete a magical run chase. With 5 wickets still in hand, the task is very gettable.

Dhoni will be the key to the final overs dash for the line, with Irfan Pathan relied on to rotate the strike to help get his side over the line.
