Hogg Picks Up Another - Pakistan 5/131

Brad Hogg made the breakthrough for Australia as Abdul Razzaq fell for a well made 29 as Pakistan lost their 5th wicket as they reached 131. Razzaq was eventually found out with the bounce of Hogg on a turning SCG pitch. The ball pitched short and bounced just higher than anticipated by Razzaq. The middle order batsman eventually skying the ball to Stuart Clark at mid wicket.



Pakistan will now be hoping that the gamble of playing Shoaib Malik at number 7 will bring positive rewards.

Australia need to wrap up the innings quickly because if the innings continues extra runs will be added to the total they need to chase. (well duh) I'm sure they would like to win this game with a bonus point and do a recovery session as there schedule has been quite demanding, hasn't it, MWaugh.

Khan Looks To Revive Innings - Pakistan 5/133 (30)



Younis Khan continued to plug away in an attempt to revive the Pakistan innings after the tourists reached 5/133 from 30 overs at the SCG. Khan looks to have hit his way into form with an unbeaten 44 from 66 deliveries while Brad Hogg is contributing well to the Australian performance with 2/30 from 6 overs. Shaun Tait and Brett Lee will more than likely be called back into the attack in a bid to close in on the tail.
