Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

Wrong thread Aksh

^I posted it here because there was talk of srilanka's series, I got confused.

"It's no harm, pay no attention to it":p

We know what Johnson can do but it's hard to carry a hot and cold bowler. What it also means is we keep living in the past of his tour of SA. I'm happy to give him this tour and the Ashes to prove himself but if he fails in those two series then we have to cut him loose.

And then he goes back and wrecks havoc in FC cricket.

Johnson hasnt even played a FC match for WA since he moved there more than 18 months ago. Same for Watson, not turned out for NSW even once.

And don't know if either will do likewise this year either. If NSW had made the Champions League then Watson would have been in there unless CA forced him to rest.

Its kinda funny, they give North multiple chances yet dropped Hughes at the first sign of bad form. What, they dont think Hughes is long term option for the test team? FAIL.

Sounds like Hilditch loves the 'experience' of North and his ability to score hundreds. But why doesn't he love the experience of a David Hussey or Phil Jaques or Chris Rogers?? Those are comparable guys to North in age and experience level and North has a better record than NONE of them. At least he didn't mention North's bowling as a reason for his selection...

Oh well, I still hope North does well. It's always nice to see a man the selectors have faith in do well eventually eg. Watson/Symonds type players who were persisted with for long periods before it eventually clicked. I still say North has much less talent than those 2...

Where the next bradman:sarcasm aka Phil Huges :p

Guess he likes his hit and miss players, funny thing is the guy who you would think would be the king of hit and miss (Symonds) was more consistent than North.
