Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

As much as I hate Bhaj I want him to have one more crack at the Aussies. Hayden is gone but playing against Ponting might fire him up a bit.

If he doesn't perform we should arrange a freak accident and draft Ashwin ASAP. :spy

I really dont see our bowlers taking 20 wickets, so its up the batsmen, and thats not good. For us to win in India we need everything to go in our favour, like in 04 when it rained on the last day of the 2nd test and saved us from near certain defeat, and in the 3rd test when a greentop was given to us and we hammered India.

IF you don't take 20 wickets the batsman can do whatever they want but you still won't win he match.

Well not quite. 4th test Ashes 2001 for example. 06/07 2nd test Ashes too. Chasing a 4th inn target happens you know, without taking 20 wickets previously in the match. Its not a quirky stat that never happens either, though obviously you dont want to be hoping to be chasing 400+ every match as a viable winning strategy!!

Why not?. AUS have 3 bowlers in Hilfy, Bollinger, Watson who can reverse-swing the ball on the likely flat pitches, which will be KEY to taking 20 wickets in IND.

I'd like to see it happen War, would be great viewing. Sehwag has gone missing vs Aus in India, no crazy big tons like vs SA or Pak, this series ould see him tee off against us.

Willow.tv has a live mobile streaming feature up good so I can catch all the action on my droid 2 :D

Word. I'm backing the AUS quicks to do so for sure.

Yep. Too bad that all the matches are during the night though. I think i'm going to be forced to give this series a miss, I'm getting no sleep as it is. Weekends I'm going to hibernate.

Maybe i'll just catch the first session ;). Especially if Sehwag is batting!

oh btw does the Willow thing work on Android as well? If so that's awesome!

India vs Australia is not on Willow. I just checked their upcoming events, and other upcoming events are listed in there but not India vs Australia. Hope they can cover it. I think Willow wont get events that take place in India after they changed to the flat monthly rate system. Will most likely lead to conflict with broadcasters and Willow also wont be able to pay big money for acquiring internet telecast rights (since they are getting only monthly rates of money from customers instead of a per series basis).

Thinking of canceling the package for October, there is no decent cricket on that Willow is showing. Really pissed they are not showing this series

What the hell? Canceling tomorrow for sure. What a waste if we don't get the most anticipated test series in a year
