Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

^Whenever Johnson goes round the wicket that means he's getting a bit of reverse - or at least he's looking to get it...:p Nah but often he does get a LITTLE bit and straightens the ball down the line. You have to consider how wide his arm gets when coming from around the wicket, so he doesn't do too badly with the angle. But he certainly doesn't hoop the ball reverse.

Oh and in the spirit of the series I've made a pre-series combined XI:
1 Virender Sehwag
2 Simon Katich
3 Shane Watson
4 Sachin Tendulkar
5 Michael Clarke (vc)
6 VVS Laxman
7 MS Dhoni (c) (wk)
8 Mitchell Johnson
9 Harbhajan Singh
10 Zaheer Khan
11 Doug Bollinger
Fear the all left arm pace attack :) And it's also pretty even, 5 Aussies and 6 Indians.

Sunshine and temperature in the high 80s for the whole week. Hopefully there is no morning fog as there always is in India. Usually by the time it clears and play starts its way past my bed time :(

For me too almost. I think I can watch the first session max (that too doubtful). Day games played in India are just so hard for us North American viewers.

I took off work tomorrow, so I can watch until Tea today :p Here's hoping the play is exciting, I'd hate to see a 200/0 score

Starts at 9pm for me, muahahaha.

East Side is the best side!

What's the tradeoff?

Eastern Standard times are brutal for cricket fans. Day games start at 12AM, which sucks because it is too early to get a LITTLE bit of sleep in and starts too late if you actually want to watch the whole day's play. D/N games are alright as they usually start at around 4:30 AM or even later at like around 6ish.

That's why I love it when India tours the WI. Same timezones! IPL is pretty good timings too.

Tests in NZ are the best, they start at 3:30pm and go till about midnight.

You love it, but no one in India loves it:p. Day (ODI's/Tests) games start at 08:000 PM or so and end the next morning (about 3 AM).

Binnu added 4 Minutes and 11 Seconds later...

My line up for today:
Sehwag
Dravid
Laxman
Tendulkar
Pujara
Dhoni
Harbhajan Singh/Mishra
Zaheer Khan
Ishant Sharma
Sreesanth

Rested Gambhir and chance given to Pujara at no.5. Else, Swap Laxman and Pujara, if you think Pujara is much reliable than Laxman at no.3.

Ah that sucks, Id much rather have my time zone then. I don't mind missing most SC tests since they are so boring and drawn out. I could not do without the English ones though or the ones down under.
