Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

I'm bored watching these two.:(

Some wickets or even runs please, get a result for the match.:upray

whooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Katich gone, wanna a collapse now.:happy

Great bowling OJHA, discipline always pays.;)

Finally. :banana2
Hopefully we manage to get a couple of quick wickets now.

I guess the Australians will collapse around 250.

They're not inherently invalid though. It would be pretty unfair to drop a spin bowler over not performing well against India in India. When playing against India in India, Warne averaged 43.11 and Muralitharan averaged 45.45. I guess Australia and Sri Lanka should have dropped two of the greatest spinners of all time whenever playing against India in India.

Well it didn't stop North being more economical against them not to mention picking up the wicket of Tendulkar. How come he wasn't taken to? Isn't he meant to be the part timer?

And lol are you seriously comparing Hauritz to the greatest two spinners ever? When Hauritz picks up 700 wickets then he can get the leeway those two get. Not to mention neither of them were going at 4 an over against India and they aren't in the side for being the defensive spinner which was my whole point.

Given the score is under 150 you guys are probably right. Although expect North to hit some runs in the next test either when its lost or when there is no pressure.

North didn't bowl nearly as many overs and like most part-timers, he got taken off a couple of overs after taking Tendulkar's wicket, so he doesn't get the full brunt of India's prowess against spin. And actually, both Warne and Muralitharan have gone for over four an over in certain innings (and quite close to four an over in a few more innings) against India in India. Also, Warne never played against India in India after he picked up 700 wickets, so at the time he was picked, he wasn't afforded the leeway of a bowler who had taken 700 wickets. In addition to this, of 3 of the 4 series Muralitharan played against India in India, he hadn't picked up 700 wickets yet either.

So we are back to accepting our spinners going at 4 an over against India again? Also Hauritz was taken to in a few overs, does that make him a part timer too?
And again are you seriously comparing Warne and Murali to Hauritz? Fine they didn't take 700 wickets when playing India, but unless you are saying Hauritz is equal to the level of Warne and Murali then don't even think about using that comparison with Hauritz.

So did Jason Krejza...

I've got the sad sinking feeling, our fate is in the hands of Hussey and North. I'm hardly filled with confidence. If we can just last til the end of the day, we should be 300 in front and that will be at least a defendable score.
