Australian Tour of India, October 2010/11

So we are back to accepting our spinners going at 4 an over against India again? Also Hauritz was taken to in a few overs, does that make him a part timer too?
And again are you seriously comparing Warne and Murali to Hauritz? Fine they didn't take 700 wickets when playing India, but unless you are saying Hauritz is equal to the level of Warne and Murali then don't even think about using that comparison with Hauritz.

? I meant that North didn't have to bowl as many overs as Hauritz and got taken off a couple of overs after he took Tendulkar's wicket, so the batsmen weren't given the chance to settle and attack his bowling, which would've affected his economy rate.

Also, explain to me what has Hauritz having to be as good as Warne and Muralitharan got to do with the validity of the comparison?

If Australia get 300 plus, I'm sure India will crumble under pressure given that Sehwag doesn't go haywire.

he got taken off a couple of overs after taking Tendulkar's wicket, so he doesn't get the full brunt of India's prowess against spin

Umm what? Hauritz bowled 15 balls to Dhoni, North 9 balls so 1 less over means he missing out on the full brunt of India's prowess against spin?

Simple are you going to drop Warne and Murali after a poor series like you would Hauritz?

No idea why that was given out... Harbhajan wasn't appealing very much either.

Square up I guess you could say. Not what Hussey needed as he needed a big knock to get a few more matches.

This is The Innings for North to shut the critics up.

Pakistani Batsman should look at how easily Indian Batsmen have handled Hauritz. He will be exposed this series.

I'm simply trying to say that Hauritz should not be dropped from the Australian Test team after a bad bowling performance in one innings against India in India, one of the toughest circumstances to perform well in when bowling spin. If he doesn't perform well in the first two/three Ashes Tests, fair enough, but I believe Hauritz should keep his place in the team at the moment.

If India bat today I would say they are looking good for a win. Would take something special from our bowlers to knock India off and if we don't get Sehwag early then the total would be a breeze.

Well I don't even know why you are arguing with me then, I never said drop him after this. I just said he was bowling like crap and picked up some lucky wickets. I have said the same about Johnson and would say the same about any other bowler that bowls like crap and picks up cheap wickets.
