We should play to win . There is a result coming, thrilled to watch the final day.

Draw is ruled out here. If India can bat the whole day, they will win the test match. 161 in 80 overs (assuming they get to 80 overs in the day) is at 2 runs per over. I am sure India wont bat worser than that run rate and try to draw the game. Either they win or they lose.

I think I have to give up my night's sleep to watch this final day. Wont mind snoozing off in tomorrow's Marketing class

How fit is Laxman? He had a bad back in first innings. If he is not going to play, then we are virtually 5 down. Very tough situation and we need just one huge partnership as a try in taking the bowlers mentally down. Let's see.

Ishant has said that Laxman will bat if he is needed to. I guess he will come in at No. 10 or No. 11 if the team really needs him to. He wont be coming at the fall of the next wicket, I guess. Hope the team doesnt need him.:upray

Looks like Aussies will win but can't complain much as this has been a gripping Test match.

And we have played pretty well with a batsman down, 1 useless spinner, Harbhajan who was sporadically fit/unfit, and Ishant sharma who was crap for 99% of the match.

Maybe he got the back spasms during the match. I dont think Laxman is a guy who will play inspite of not being fit enough. He is indispensable in test matches and only an injury can rule him out of a game.

Laxman batting with Tendulkar at 5 down and Laxman batting with Ishant at 9 down is really different.

Good time for Dhoni to win us a challenging test match. I am not sure how many he has done that for India (despite being the captain).

Is it just me or is someone in the Indian team ALWAYS injured? It's getting really frustrating. This is international cricket. You can't be breaking down everyday.

Yes, he has showed his solid batting in ODI's that earned him NO 1 ODI Batsman.

Time to show he can do that in Tests. We badly needed Sehwag to fire and he failed.

One thing for sure, If Sehwag fires he wins or draws the Test Match on his own.

I really thank that Australia test at Adelaide when he made a comeback and scored 280 runs I suppose

Australia need to get Zaheer quickly, then both Tendulkar and Dhoni for less than 100 runs added - AT MOST. Leaving the other 61 runs for the last 3 wickets of Laxman, Harbhajan, Ishant and Ojha would be cutting it fine I think.

Even after 2 decades, we need Sachin to save our skin... I'm not concerned if Sachin play out first half an hour of the morning. There would be movement in the morning in Mohali, if he sees that off, India would win easily.

And If VVS doesnt get fit by next match, I would feel for Pujara, coz Selectors would definitely pick Yuvraj who has slogged Mumbai Bowlers on his way to 204*(194) including 28 4s and 5 6s.

Just got done watching highlights. Seeing Zaheer bowl round the wicket at the Aussie tail was bloody awesome. Politely kissed the stump before he smashed it :laugh
