Australia's Tour of India - 7 ODI's

Hussey's gone but Australia seem to have 300 in their sights now. The Hussey-Johnson-Hopes-White squad saw to that. Johnson with a most helpful cameo here though.

Pretty funny that there was an article the other day about the selectors having to think seriously about Mike Hussey's future.

His form in one day cricket was still pretty good throughout is test rough patch was it not?

Lee bowled for a duck. He really killed the momentum there, which was a real shame. That end the inning as well. Australia 292/8.

India need 293 to win. Disappointing that we couldn't make 300 wit hthe start we got, Hussey gave us a chance again but once he got out we were going to be lucky to get it.

Sharma is slowing finding his way back, touched 138km/h that over.

What a wonderful end there by Ishant Sharma!!! He has had a very good game here, just what he needed to start the process of getting back to form. Just 1 run from the final over and the wickets of Hussey and Lee.

292 off 50 overs should be chaseable, especially with Sehwag and Sachin in there. Yuvi might have added more power, but Kohli has been consistent and reliable with the bat. We need a really good RR from the first 20 overs without more than 1 wicket loss which will put us in a very good position.

The first 20 overs are going to decide this match.

Hmarka added 0 Minutes and 31 Seconds later...

EDIT: karthik beat me to it

293 not that easy of a target. India has to bat this out really well.

NOTICE THE LACK OF DRAVID NOW!

Last over there could make a difference. But 292 is still a lot of runs and Australia are big favorites imo. Might be an interesting chase, let's hope so.

It was Johnson, not Hussey. Hussey was caught out for 73 IIRC.

If my predictions anything to go by, India will lose. They really need th opening pair to stand up when they bat. If they can't then India are basically on the back foot from the word 'go' and will be unless something tremendous is 'pulled out of the hat' today.

Think Munaf or Tyagi is going to be in for Kumar's place in 2nd game..

It will be Munaf having seen Dhoni's captaincy for so long.If he can bowl with the pace and accuracy he bowled in the Challenger Trophy, our attack would look heaps better than today.

What? Johnson was not out, and it was Hussey that got out in the last over bowled by Ishant Sharma.

Edit: Welcome BINGA!! YOU'RE SO WELCOME HERE! Absolutely thrashed by Sehwag off the first two balls!

Lets dooooo this!!

2 Consescutive 4's off Lee's opening 2 balls. Sehwag and Sachin open the innings! :D :happy:happy:happy:happy
