That was very terrible from Haque. Why would you not defend a ball that is highly likely to hit the stumps? :facepalm
Maybe Ashwin's brilliance you can say ?[DOUBLEPOST=1573722953][/DOUBLEPOST]I know Bangladesh are 9 down here but why not look for the block hole / yorker?

There goes Yadav !! So satisfying this is ! :yes[DOUBLEPOST=1573723634][/DOUBLEPOST]Keep going for those and we can surely succeed Overseas as well.

Today's dismissal of Rohit Sharma again showed signs of older version of Rohit Sharma who time and again brings out a poor shot out of no where to get dismissed.

Also did anyone notice that Pujara was batting with an open stance today ? I can't understand why a batsman like him should play with an open stance and try to score quick runs. When your stance opens up you tend to push the ball with an angled bat which increases the chances of edges. Any chances that the Indian team management would've asked him to do that ? If that is the case than I don't know how worse the consequences can be.

That delivery by Shami to Mushfiqur Rahim was so good to watch. He set Rahim so beautifully with the ball coming in and going wide of the bowling crease to create that angle. Pujara looked really good and probably the best and most confident I have seen him bat since the Australia tour. Mayank also played some beautiful shots to support him.

Exactly what happened with Pujara now. A flashy drive to get caught at gully.[DOUBLEPOST=1573791803][/DOUBLEPOST]I always like to watch Agarwal bat. He is so very calm and composed. Some classy drives from him right from the time he came out to bat yesterday.

I don't necessarily feel that it is Kohli's fault in regards to his recent dismissals and inconsistent run of form. I feel it is the bowlers who seem to have found ways to get him out. I feel that he has to consistently adapt to it if he wants to stay at the top. At times he plays in with an angled bat and a little bit of movement troubles him. The only option to counter it is to cut down the shots earlier in the innings, it would definitely help him improve.

I might have been critical of Jayed before the series started but I must agree he has bowled beautifully. I am just mighty impressed with his bowling. Probably a future prospect for Bangladesh Cricket in the years to come.

Monk!! This guy deserves his success. He has been heaping runs for fun in the domestic circuit. Hope he has a long career! KLR should take a nice hard look at himself. He has more talent in his little finger than most batters but Mayank is proving that through sheer determination and hard work what is achievable.

Mayank Agarwal is exactly the example you should look at in why do we need to select a well-developed player in domestic level rather than illogically looking at the young talent. You get a loads of it in a Country like India but you need to look at players who you are sure are going to perform for you. A player like him at the top is exactly who you need to win matches in Overseas.

Brilliant from Mayank. Just make full use of opportunities given to him

Cant wait to see him bat overseas, esp in NZ against their world class pace attack[DOUBLEPOST=1573814982][/DOUBLEPOST]And classic, consistent Jadeja that we have come to see in recent times. Takes time to get in and then just suddenly ups the ante and starts attacking. Much more like a guy who has triple tons in domestic cricket

And THIS man is not in our T20 scheme of things.

Its unfortunate that Mayank missed 300 mark and Rahane 100 mark and Virat-Kohli is unlucky the review gone against him.I feel really sad for those who gets dismissed like 99,199,80 etc.Overall anyway India is riding now and I tell 99% India will win also I wont be surprised if Sir Jadeja makes a 100 taking this oppurtunity

Whenever there was talk about Jadeja's batting ability, the "3 triple centuries" would invariably find its way into the discussion. And I always thought that it was never a true measure of how good can he bat.

But the past 18 months have shown me how wrong I was. His 50s have become consistent and that's way more than what is expected given the position he bats at, though of late promoting him ahead of the likes of Saha and Ashwin has certainly raised his confidence.

So suffice to say, I'm happy that my impressions about him were wrong and they are certainly taking a well deserved u-turn.

Those useful runs down the order have added a new dimension to India's batting prowess.
