Saha has been absolutely brilliant in this Test .. keeping against that late swing is really difficult and he has been flawless
Bangladeshi bowlers were all over the place there is still enough to trouble the batters if they can get the right channel but with Kohli settled on 55 India with some glorious cover drives and superb Straight (The shot of the match for me) its gonna be hard work for Bangladesh.
I think somebody would enjoy this reply of yoursCome on Bangladesh
I feel Ishant Sharma had a lot of potential. His performances were certainly affected by the amount of injuries he had earlier. Before the England series last year I thought he would have a redemption like how Mitchell Johnson had back in 2013/14 Ashes. To some extent I think that series did help Ishant Sharma become a bowler that we wanted to see him become but to some extent he bowled defensively over there and got injured in the last match of the series. A Captain who has Ishant Sharma in his team he would have to use him smartly to get the best out of him and Kohli have done a great job in this area.I was talking about this here in this forum few days back - Ishant Sharma is the unquestionable leader of our test pace attack in terms of experience and to me, he would be the first name after Bumrah, on the XI sheet when you start talking about the pace bowlers. It is actually time to stop using the word "improved" for him. Yes he had that period of inconsistency where his experience did not match his exploits. But he has reached a stage where he has gotten his head right (after that county stint) and he has ensured that he has not again fallen astray and also the huge competition in the pace attack has kept him on his toes and has only made him go farther and farther. And that is also showing in his batting (the few chances he gets) where he can stick it out there with the batters and give valuable contributions.

He wasn't. I clearly remember he was taken for cleaners in Australia by Johnson and Smith at the Gabba and he was actually bowling poor lines and lengths in the 2014-15 Australia tour. He was quite inconsistent until that tour. There were times when he looked ineffective. It was only that England series last year where he has been consistently delivering for the teamI think he was a finished article by the time MS handed over.
Seriously ? I don't quite think so. He has been having some fitness issues in last few years. It is quite commendable that he has improved on it and is consistently with the team in last 3 years or so and did have an excellent World Cup. Tbh nobody works as hard as that guy. And with issues around his personal life he has been consistently delivering for the team is another factor to look at. The guy is mentally very strong.Shami is extremely lazy
