South Africa or India. Btw,are you playing this series against Stars XI instead of New Zealand ODI series?

No, I am not using the proper fixtures, I am just making them up as I go along. That is why I am asking people's opinions on who they want England to play after the Charity Shield! :D

Stars XI Wern't A Challenge For England!

Terrible Start! 3/2! Could Things Get Better?

Craig White and Darren Gough are resilient, whilst Ashley Giles is frustrated after edging a catch to Panasar.

England Win Comfortably by 69 Runs

Scorecard and Innings Round-Up Coming Up!

That was an easy win for England. They dominated in the bowling department. Great works mate. A great story.

Regarding your question, I would like to see England vs either Pakistan or West Indies. :)

I've got school today, so I think that there will be an ODI series with RSA and PAK.

Innings Round-Up: With Sir Ian Botham

Ian Botham: Well a terrific and comfortable win for England there. I mean those Stars XI boys had no chance! Freddie Flintoff was the key man for me today, and in the last couple of moments he has been named man-of-the-match! Congratulations Freddie! We hope to talk to him in the middle soon. Anyway all in all, it was a walkover for the four manned bowling attack of Anderson, Broad, Kirtley and Flintoff. This is how the dreadful Stars XI scorecard looks............

As you can see, not very happy reading for the Stars XI boys there, and to lose by 69 runs off 9.1 overs when the England side posted 125 off 9.2 overs it is a very pathetic total. As I was saying before Andrew Flintoff was man-of-the-match, and we can go live to him now, and he is talking to Geoffrey Boycott.

GB: So Freddie, great innings there and three wickets to round your day off, pleased?

AF: Yeah, obviously we didn't know how to play the innings really as it was the first ever Ten/10 match ever. I was really pleased with both my batting and bowling and I hope that I can keep in this good-form.

GB: Yes, you were in good touch today, have your injury problems finally stopped?

AF: Haha :p Yeah, I don't really know, I hope that they don't come back and that I have an injury-free summer of cricket especially after all of the operations I have had!

GB: Yes I hope so too. It's been great talking to you Freddie and it gives me great pleasure to award you as the Oxfam Man-Of-The-Match.

AF: Thank you.

GB: Now, it's back to Beefy! :)

Innings Round-Up

Ian Botham:
Hello and welcome back!

Yes, as always Freddie Flintoff is doing the business for England! Lets take a look at his "wickets" pitch-map.

st6.jpg

Yes, Freddie dismissed Shaun Udal, Ashley Giles and Andy Caddick with some great balls! My favourite was the one where he dismissed Andy Caddick with the perfect yorker! :) However, I remember that Ashley Giles was extremely disappointed when he was caught in the slips, and there is a possibility that the ball didn't even touch the bat! Lets hope that "snicko" can clear this up for us! :D

st5.jpg

Oh yes, snicko said out! And that shows that Steve Bucknor can actually make correct desisions! :p Well that's all that we've got time for today! I hope you enjoyed today's match and another edition of Innings Round-Up!
