Yep it was, unlike many other teams I don't have an overly large squad so there isn't really all that much to play with.

I was wondering why you had so little players when I took those pics. It is smart though as you save on wages.

I used to have quite a few back-ups, but they were of a much lower standard than my first team squad, so I decided to cash in and sell them. But of late i've decided to get in a player or two rather for secondaries and stamina than a primary.

Wages used to be a concern, but with over a million in my bank i'm not so worried anymore.

Just had to reject three challenges and made my challenge to Zorax.

Also last night I re-adjusted my net schedule as follows - : Bird 2 bowling
: Samuel 2 bowling, 1 fielding, 1 fitness : Nicolls 2 batting, 1 fitness, 1 fielding

Challenge accepted. Should be a good game. Timing is a bit inconvenient though, I won't be able to watch most of it.

Can't see you competing with Zorax, sorry Max. I don't think I could get anywhere near the Lions at the moment (don't worry Zorax, that'll change ) and I beat you fairly easily last time around. It'll be a match well worth watching, though. Samuels is a fantastic bowler, wish I has him.

All 3 of them did something against my team, not bad set of youth players you got training.

Yep, all decent lads, Samuel tops of them all, then Nicolls and finally Bird. Last two on pretty similar levels in their respective roles.

Friday Match​

So in preperation for the league game on Friday I decided a little research would be in order!

In comparison my team is almost lightyears ahead, only being equals in fielding.
Their MOTM scored 98 in their last game, but he shouldn't pose a threat.

A point to ponder however is whether to field my best sqaud, or to rest a few key players, thereby sacrificing run rate for the promotion tables. Also resting could be required for when I face upto Zorax on Sunday (mainly my bowlers), as my best squad will be needed to give him a go.

Great that u joined battrick too.. I also just joined( 3 weeks before) after getting interests from battrick stories especially Zorax's one.

Also the match between Bombers & TT lions shd be a another thriller i guess... Bombers won a recent match by huge margin ( sorry Syl that I reminded him again ) & TT Lions won a great thriller over Falcons. So TTL Vs Bombers must be a gud game.
