Sorry if this has been answered but what game modes are available in the demo?
The game mode available in the demo is the ICC Champions Trophy England 2004. You play as either West Indies, England or Australia at The Oval and it is six overs per side. I think it's excellent because you get to both bat and bowl. :)

in the demo can you select your final 11 out of the squad or are you stuck with the default XI?

ah the pc demo needs to hurry itself up! i cant hold on much longer!

wow ! we can Bat and Bowl ,,thats wodnerfull , atleast its better than playing only 3 overs ,, i cant wait for the DEMO to be relased...

Pc Demo no commentary

Only tried it quickly

Hawkeye seems to be very well implemented so far
Graphics look better than i was expecting from screenshots ive seen
U can play as either Australia,England or West Indies
Im using a Logitech Wingman Rumblepad and its abit of a pain to set up
Already seen bowlers(AI) bowl a couple of no balls and over the shoulder bouncers(which the ump signalled)
Definantely plays better than EAs game.
Seems most the files are in .bag format so the modders might wanna start searchin for info on that.
Lookin forward to gettin back to demo now and waitin for full version this one looks the goods.

BAD NEWS IS ITS USING STARFORCE PROTECTION which means badnews for ppl with older computers and it loads files onto your computer that can screw other games up.
STARFORCE should be banned

Defintely getting on PC, I can run everything on full, but the controls are confusing especially considering ive been playing on ps2. Thought I would give you an idea of what the graphics are like on full graphics here is a screens hots of mcgrath.

You can see on the pitch where the bowler lands. PC is by far the best platform for this game and better than EA.

The Starforce thing is a bit of a bugger but there are ways of getting rid of the rubbish it puts on your PC (I think?).

I'm very impressed with the PC demo though, the game is genuinely fun to play and has a very atmosphere despite the slightly cartoonish graphics. The animations are all great especially in the field and when the ball hits the bat there is satisfying contact unlike in Cricket 2005 where the bat sucks the ball up and shoots it out again. The only niggling point for me is that I find some of the player abilities a bit odd (Darren Gough faster than Flintoff? Vaughan a worse batsman than G.Jones?) but as these can be edited, hopefully along with the kits and call names, everything looks good from my point of view.

In fact unless it's all hard coded then I'm sure the call names could be swapped around a little. i.e. For Simon Jones use the ICC "Jones" name for Geraint Jones and so on. (If the call names work like that that is.)

personally i dislike it, i got the demo for the ps2 and was really looking foward to it but then i have played it and am disappointed, i really hate the fielding metre and prefer it automatic like the ea games and origianal BLC, there are some elements which i really enjoy like hawkeye, but some things which i hate (no choice of Front Foot or Back Foot or Coming Down The Track.
Do codemasters know the Wide rule in ODI? because i have only seen 1 wide in about 10 games i have played on it, even though the ball has gone down leg side alot.
I love the commentary because they just talk about anything not what is perhaps going on.

Overall i am not convinced but will no doubt buy it and then hopefully i can get a true representation of other parts of the game, and im sure this comment is a fairly unpopular and maybe rare thought but from the 2 demos i have played i prefer Cricket 2005
