Blocker's Ashes Thread

Yep. I made the 2005 squads for DBC14. Pity you can't import the dmc14/17 players, I'd have them nearly all done I think.

I'm particularly interested in the 90s ones personally, because I remember those thrashings all too painfully.

Might have a go at a player or two later... give me a break from the pounding I'm taking.[DOUBLEPOST=1510598039][/DOUBLEPOST]

Is a promise to do the retro logos?
I'll certainly have a go.

I'm just having a look through past squads/stats. If I was to do some I'd probably do larger squads of players that span two series (1981 and 1982/83) rather than just one then leave it up to people to choose their teams and set up the series.

Yep, I think this is generally the easiest way.

on my way :)

Blocker looks amazing.

PS My only question is from watching the videos as I don't have the game can there be improvements made to inside edges, it's very common for a inside edge to miss the stumps and go down to the fine leg but have not seen that yet.

So is that a yes something to improve Blocker ?:clap

It does happen, not as often as it could but if were up to the beta team we all agree it should not be tinkered with. Edge frequency always messing with some other aspects of the gameplay.

We've always right from dbc14 days pestered BA - give us more edges, make them more varied, make them fly, make them not carry, make them go in to space...

I reckon we have the best balance we've ever had right now in how the AI plays in general vs an ability to get all modes of dismissal. As @Llewelynf says we worry that one small change now creates something big. That's happened before!

So true but could Bigant use you guys as guinea pigs and have a go. I agree from what I have watched the outside edges and the way the AI play has a great balance but a french cut or two would be nice but up to Bigant as it's not a biggy.

Yes, I remember one particular knock last week where I inside edged two back foot drives to fine leg. I think I was taking beta footage at the time. If I can find them I'll post them.

I'd agree with the other betas that edges are nicely balanced at present between user batting edges and ai batting edges.
