Blocker's Ashes Thread

2 awesome wickets there, including a bowled on legend for @Langeveldt

I do find it cute how I am singled out whenever there is a bowled or LBW. Isn't that possibly the most fundamental thing about cricket after maybe the grass? Does nobody else want a bowled on legend? Either way I am happy to promote the use of stumps in the game :)

Thanks for watching everyone. I am in a whole heap of trouble. Relying on Malan and Vince! Thank god for the Cummins no-ball :) I still can't believe Root's leave... I will have nightmares about that.

Go out and buy this game![DOUBLEPOST=1510701763][/DOUBLEPOST]

Oh hell I want them mate. That was what killed 17 for me. That's actually my first bowled on ps4, but I had several on PC.

@BigAntStudios I bloody love this game.

Getting my ass absolutely handed to me by the AI - the stuff of dreams.

Amazing moments in this match: getting Smith 2 balls after moving the fielder there, getting Maxwell lbw after review overturned the not-out, bowling Lyon, bouncing out Wade, Root's bad leave, Malan's bowled off a no-ball rescue. Just brilliant brilliant cricket.

Getting spanked by the AI makes the victories so much sweeter.

@blockerdave Sat here foaming at the mouth about that Lyon bowled. Because nothing is contrived about it and you battled for ages before that. It's just a not very good batsman getting done by a decent pill having even played the correct shot to it. Proper cricket.

It was fun watching the game live. Some really great moments...although the Root leave might not be viewed as 'great' it did look like real cricket with a misjudgement of length and height allowing the ball to clip the bails. Stoneman never looked 'in' in the way Wade had done and his departure seemed on the cards early on. The no-ball wicket was another highlight...you feel that it would have been all over if that had been a valid delivery. With the Australians in a commanding position and setting attacking fields, it felt like a wicket could go down at any point...but then an unlikely partnership starts to emerge giving the slightest glimmer of hope. Splendid stuff.
