Yep old. I've nearly 4 years of muscle memory!

Sod got a ton in the 1st test to change the game, too.

@blockerdave Sat here foaming at the mouth about that Lyon bowled. Because nothing is contrived about it and you battled for ages before that. It's just a not very good batsman getting done by a decent pill having even played the correct shot to it. Proper cricket.

That is exactly how it felt playing it. Felt like i was all over him but in the back of your mind is Wade is going well other and the ball will stop swinging soon. Out of my seat when the stumps broke

It was fun watching the game live. Some really great moments...although the Root leave might not be viewed as 'great' it did look like real cricket with a misjudgement of length and height allowing the ball to clip the bails. Stoneman never looked 'in' in the way Wade had done and his departure seemed on the cards early on. The no-ball wicket was another highlight...you feel that it would have been all over if that had been a valid delivery. With the Australians in a commanding position and setting attacking fields, it felt like a wicket could go down at any point...but then an unlikely partnership starts to emerge giving the slightest glimmer of hope. Splendid stuff.

Cheers. The no ball was amazing. I dunno what happened with the shot, got the controls all wrong. Slumped in my chair thinking game over, hear Slats say no ball... amazing.

Yay! My lecture is also starting in 20 min which means I can watch and be actually entertained in the lecture today

A great session for me, a shame to lose Malan (85) just before the end but I am still in the match. 94 ahead, 5 wickets in hand. Some decent batting still to come - Vince (90*) and YJB (0*) at the crease, and Mo and Woakes still to come.

A long way to go, and 7 sessions still in the match so no thoughts of safety yet, but hopefully humiliation can be avoided.
