I really admire Rohit's family planning, I am sure he wouldn't have liked playing here.

The more I see Kohli struggle, the more I'm inclined to think maybe it's time for him to reconsider things. Same goes for Rohit.

India is shooting themselves in the feet here by having a RR of 1 rpo. You lose a couple of wickets and suddenly you have nothing in the bank in terms of runs. Even if batting is difficult, you gotta find those singles.

The amount of confidence in this batting unit keeps on declining as matches go by. I also don't think we needed two debuts.

3 right? Paddikkal is also a debutant, aint he?

I agree with the point on the batting unit. The entire line up disappoints me to a large extent. I have a feeling that by Melbourne we will see India 0-2 down with SOS calls being sent to Pujara and Rahane.

I guess it does boil down to what a lot of Indians said when we lost the CWC23- Win the World Cup, but dont care whether we win the bilaterals, the Tests, anything else etc.

A very long tour for India awaits.

Tricky pitch yes but some poor shots too.

Looked under prepared most of the players unable to adapt to extra bounce and relentless bowling.

End of the day's play - Australia 150/0 ?
McSweeney- 100*
Khawaja- 42*

India have themselves to blame- they rejected the practice game on offer. Tricky pitch- well not really- Australian pitches have been this way in the past BGT as well. The only concern I have now- Test cricket might really die out if India end up losing 0-5. Indian audiences might not give that much importance to the format, especially if IPL wonders like Rana and Reddy get debuted every now and then.

This batting debacle was expected when we didn't have any steady style players such as Pujara or Vihari.

I'm no fan of Siraj but he has a brilliant record in Australia. Hope he can emulate it this year too. India's tactics to go batting heavy didn't help.

It will be interesting to see how much bowling does Reddy gets.

Bumrah strikes! My McSweeney prediction goes for a toss. More reason why we need proper front line bowlers and not dibbly dobblies from the IPL.

I only believe in Jassi Bhai.
