Border-Gavaskar Trophy (India in Australia) Dec-Jan 2011/12

India have been good at chasing 250-300ish targets in recent times. If we can manage to keep them even to 275, we still have a change. VVS and Gambhir are the ones to watch out for in the 2nd innings. First things first, lets hope there is no tail hanging around this time.

Its time to get Umesh back into the attack and have seam from both ends. One quick burst from Yadav and Ishant to open up the tail is what we need. If they leak runs, so be it. We need wickets now and can`t allow Siddle to hang around like in the 1st innings.

Well.. if Australia manage to scrape through to about 200 runs, it should be good enough. That'd be a lead of close to 300 :)

Zak is really someone special. He sure is showing what India missed in their tour of England.

 I had my heart in my mouth. Hussey dropped by Dravid. Now :spy could this turn out to be something big.

A score of 200 would mean a lead of 251. Not quite close to 300, it is.:D

Darn it. I hoped this wouldn't happen..

@SaiSrini: :lol I thought the lead was something higher. My bad.

@Aayush: Dravid is still a class act. He still holds the record for catches, remember? Just saying.

Yadav needs one more for a 5-fer. Would be outstanding for the lad to get a 5-fer. Come on Yadav!

Carrom ball from Ashwin gets Lyon! 2 more to go and Australia lead is 217. Come on India! Keep them to below 250.

220 run lead with 2 wkts remaining. Still Hussey is the thorn, but I believe we can get the other two for a lead below 250 which should be chaseable despite it being challenging.

End of days play. In all, I'd say it went more in favor of the Indians.

Two wickets to get, and Hussey still at the crease. I'd say getting a lead of around 300 isn't likely.

Did anyone notice the partnership graph? 115- the big one, between Ponting and Hussey and the rest barely crossed 20-30 twice.
