I don't want him to get picked- he's played too many games this season and as is evident from Jack Wilshere, that can have a detrimental effect at a young age.

Haha , no brother. I have been watching almost every Atleti match this term and I can assure you that the Juanfran-Godin-Miranda-Filipe backline has been immense. I have watched a fair amount of Napoli's matches as well , but not as much as Atleti , shame that Henrique was not present for the UCL matches. I watched Henrique against La Viola , Juve , FCP , Lazio and Inter and he strikes me a good , but not world class defender.

EDIT: And I am not entirely sure where he plays , whether right back or centre back. For eg. He played right back against FCP and centre back against La Viola.

And Bernard has not done anything newsworthy since joining Shakthar , Lucas Moura deserves a go over him , surely. But Big Phil does have his favorites ofc. And before anyone starts debating Maxwell's inclusion , he has been impressive for PSG and he offers versatility.

Saw a bit o Henrique myself, no way is he better than Miranda. But it might not be relevant, since this is 4th CB option for Brazil & they are unlikely to be used.

Another interesting omission is that of Lucas Moura.

IMHO , Jo and Fred , are massively underrated , at least in their Brazilian roles. They do the unglamorous , dirty work when compared to Neymar , Oscar et al.
If at all they plan to change the two , they have only Pato and Leandro Damiao , who are not ready for the WC for various reasons.

Ye Fred is under-rated, although at times I do think Brazil could be stronger if they started Hulk up top, instead of Fred.

Jo also is sort of building back his rep after looking crap in England.

If Diego Costa had not chosen to play for Spain, I would have been totally convinced they would win the world cup.

Very very little , man. I do agree YT videos are not enough to judge a person but the reviews and reports I have heard state him as a very good player and considering that he already has made his debut for Brazil , he could have been tried.

P.S: And what more ? He is a beast in FM.
