Buying Don Bradman Cricket in UK

Agreed, it appears the gamble has not paid off. Not sure why getting it a few days before everyone else is actually a big thing, but each to their own. In the words of David Brent, "It's not a competition, Gareth!".

Well I wanted to play it as soon as possible and was ok for me to pay a bit more , actually I paid a lot more but still happy to have the game

Whats the reason? Im in Germany too and I can have the game in 2-3 business days after release at around 20 euros cheaper from Amazon UK. PLUS not having to pay VAT/import taxes upon arrival. Not saying that its a stupid idea importing, if you got the money and cat wait why not right. But to me paying a hell of a lot more when you can get it only a week or so later makes no sense.

Exactly my point was getting the game asap and how much I have to pay for it was not really the biggest problem (as long as it is not really a lot more than 50 pounds of UK value).

i think some of us will get lucky some wont, its the guys buying from Dubai and other foreign fields i feel sorry for spending all that money to get it maybe before the 11th! crazy man but then if i had no money worries i might have been tempted as well!

oh well live and learn , but with lack of decision from tru blu for a uk delivery date , which they still have not done yet!

I've paid for Express Delivery so I was wondering if I might get it before release day, but I don't think that's particularly likely. Still, without Express Delivery it wouldn't arrive till Saturday or Monday so I don't mind paying the extra to guarantee release day delivery.
