Challenging times for the Australians

No I don't think they can beat India, but you can never write Australia off.
See, here's the problem, you don't think we can beat them. You should be saying you don't think we will, because I can guarantee you that we are capable of beating anyone, anywhere. We're not as bad as you seem to think.

Ben you get the award for the most overconfident fan. Or you’ve never seen Indians bat before, in subcontinent.

Peter Siddle's a legend, he could destroy anyone anywhere. It's not overconfidence at all, it's modesty. If Ben was being truthful, he would've also mentioned that Siddle is infinitely better than at least one of England's current test bowlers.

Thats fair enough, if you guys have lost faith in Lee, never seen Peter Siddle bowl before, but it'll be his first international tour right? It's not easy, is it?

I don't think you are bad at all. Your team is certainly better than England's and I do think they are better than India as well. You've actually pointed out a grammatical error of mine. I actually did intent to use the word 'will' rather than 'can'. Trust me, I want Australia to win this series. I don't like India. It's just that if they are playing Mitchell Johnson then they are gonna leak runs.

If Siddle was Indian or English then he would've played atleast 50 Test Matches by now.

He's 23 and has only played 9 First class matches. Good record so far, but to say he would have played 50 test matches for any country by the age of 23 is a bit OTT.

I agree, we need to drop Johnson for Siddle or Bollinger, and the sooner the better. Siddle is just a gun, and if I talk about him for long enough people will start to develop an opinion on him based on the hype, and therefore people will be worried about him.

It's true that he is too young to have been picked so far, but all he needs is a few good FC games in the new season and I think we'll be seeing him against NZ or SA.

Just heard Hayden is retiring before the India/Aus and Championship Trophy, is that true?

Hayden won't retire his until 40.

Australian FC cricket is ten times harder then county cricket. Results prove this.

If you played in a weaker competition when your younger then your results wouldn't be much different then if you played in a stronger competition if you've matured a little more.

It was an exaggeration, nevertheless.

Hayden said he might pull the pin on ODI's.

Johnson has just been poor in the Windies. Bollinger would be the obvious standout for me as he took wicket after wicket in the Pura Cup. Shame though he got hurt towards the end of the season.
