Champions League Thread (the dawn of time - 2014)

Let me guess? You're an Ingurland fan, who hates Ronaldo despite playing for United, because he "got Rooney sent off"? I'm guessing I'm not far off. United fan, pah.

Loyal to the club? How many "Terry to Madrid" rumours do you see? None, exactly. He hasn't had to be loyal to his club. He gets all these stupid nicknames like "braveheart" because he makes last ditch challenges, which he only has to make because of his deficiences (sp?) in the first place, like Carragher in that respect. Oh yeah, this hard man that goes around making racist and offensive comments and spitting on people, proper 'ard. United players don't have to pretend to be hard like Terry, Tevez would have him every single day in the week in a fight, so would Wes, so would Rooney and there's more that would.

Hang on a moment, in one post you were saying that there wasn't a media love in for Terry, in the next you're saying there is and its justified?

Well, Rooney looks like he could've followed a boxing career if he'd chosen, doesn't he come from a boxing family?

Yep, I'm sure he did it as a kid. Now there's an idea for Hatton's next fight...:p

Be fun if Hatton bros had a fight one day (in the ring, that is! I know they're quite close outside it).

He is the captain of chelsea and loyal to the club so yes he can be considered mr chelsea. Also he got booted in the face and game back to the game afterwards, also dislocated his elbow and was fit in 2 weeks. I think the media claims are justified.

Ofcourse he is Mr Chelsea. He has been with the club for so long now and since the time he was youngster. Chelsea stood by him during his court case and I guess that bonded him to the club a lot more.

I dont care about the English media, as imo, they are the absolute worst of the lot. So I dont care what they say about Terry, Gerrard, Lampard or anyone else.

But as a Chelsea fan, Terry is our very own player, and along with Lampard and Cudicini represent the team from the pre-Abramovich era.

P.S - A lot of the United fans in England also wanted Ronaldo out after WC 2006. I am sure that would have been still been the case today had he not done so well in these two years.

the whole game the sky sports commentary was totally biased towards chelsea. I was so pissed off. John Terry=asshole. I feel sorry for Avram Grant, it was such a great season. Champions league final and brought the premiership to the last day. Yet still he gets the sack. What I also hate is people saying Ronaldo is crap because he got rooney sent off in the world cup. 40 odd goals counts for nothing then. Bloody hell!

Apparently ive been told on a Football show that Drogba was meant to be taking the 5th penalty.
Yep, really cost his team:D.

Not really, a lot of United fans (like myself) don't care about England, so weren't bothered. He didn't actually get Rooney sent off anyway, just England fans like to blame him. The thing that annoyed us around that time was him saying he wanted to go to Madrid.

They always are, thats why I watched it on ITV, and we have better luck when I watch it on ITV:p. Agree about Grant too.

I don't know how any Englishman can truly say he doesn't care about England at all. Club > country fair enough, but you always want England to do well, as it is your country.

Well I want them to do well, but I'm not that bothered if they don't. I don't like the majority of Ingurland supporters, that get so excited before any major tournament then generally pick on a United player to scapegoat afterwards. Also, I can't support the shirts who I hate at club level, Gerrard, Terry, Cole etc.

Love the avvie btw Will.

An oldie, but a goodie. Let's all LOL at Riise....

Sorry but i couldnt help thinking Twat after reading several words there im sorry you wasted your time posting that. Get a talent of your own before you critise others. Also stop preying off a team that your support and pretending that they're success is your success.
