When I read your post I couldn't help thinking Tarquin after reading it and so I felt sorry for myself having to read such drivel. You ever been to Old Trafford? I'm guessing if you have its been in an executive suite, and you shushed at anyone who dared to start singing or stand up. How were the prawn sandwiches btw? Its "fans", and I use the term loosely that, like yourself that give United fans a bad name. I'm guessing you supported us because we're winning. Maybe when you are just used to winning like yourself it doesn't matter so much. However, even though I didn't go through the 26 years of waiting myself, I know how others did and I feel proud of MY club, and I feel a part of it. Now go and use the holiour than thou attitude, but don't come near me with your "Man U" support.

I don't know how any Englishman can truly say he doesn't care about England at all. Club > country fair enough, but you always want England to do well, as it is your country.

Porto and CSKA Sofia have been thrown out of the Champions League. Porto for being involved a bribery scandal in the 2003-04 season, and CSKA because of financial issues with the Bulgarian FA.

Benfica and Levski are now set to be given the two available spots.

Still can't believe Porto have been given the all-clear to play in the CL despite being convicted to attempting to bribe refs. Not to play devil's advocate but you could almost guarantee an English club would not be granted such leniency.

Yep, how can they get away with that? Just like Milan did a couple of years ago. English sides wouldn't be let in, instead there would be a 5 year blanket ban for all English teams in European competitions. Platini - great player, horrid man.

Do you guys even see the news? It was found out that the people who spoke to the referees werent club officials or members just some really random fans who also are in the mafia. Why should Porto get penalised for that?

No the ban was suspended because the enquiry hadn't been finished, surely if they'd got to the point where the enquiry knew Porto were guilty, they should be banned anyway.

The enquiry by UEFA said that no one from Porto FC was involved, as of now.

This seasons champions league will be won by one of the top four English clubs! I think they are hungrry for the glory bt it wont be easy knowing a few teams are feeling the same...Bercerlona is not a contender since they are a new team when u look at it...Real could do well but dont seem do have the endurance to go all the way besides the english i think the only other team to come out really strong is Inter Milan since they have the players but now hav the special one to mak it all happen

Inter Milan are massive underachievers but now they've got Mourinho, the absolute right person. And believe me he does make a difference.

Barcelona can rot in hell for all I care but I expect Real Madrid to do really well this season with some of last season's signings having settled into the squad now.

Chelsea and United to do well from England.
