Well we've got Juventus, who I think are very much beatable. Zenit are a quality side as well, so it definitely wont be a walk in the park, but hey it is the Champions League after all.

We usually suck against Italian teams, which is why I am little concerned about Juve. They are beatable and we have a stronger team, but they are Italians and in recent years we have been knocked out of the tournament by Italian sides. Oh and there Bate Borisov as well. Sounds more like the name of a person.

However, how John Terry can win best defender in Europe when he's not even the best at his club bemuses me. Carvalho is much better than him and he gets found out without him. Ferdinand should have won it.

The same for fat fwank. He's not the best at his club, Essien is much better, and the award should have been out of him or Fabregas. Not some overweight overrated cockney who's goals mainly consist of penalties and deflections. The award obviously didnt mean as much as scoring in the far east as he didn't point upwards.

Anyway, I know what I'd rather have, a european cup winners medal or a small award voted for on the sympathy vote.

I think some people in here just disagree with me for disagreeing's sake, so I expect a ton load of abuse for this. Go on, get started!

I agree wholeheartedly with Phil.

Lampard was not as his best last season and it is amazing how many lucky goals he does get. Scholes was brilliant against Barca as well as being good all tournament, Fabregas was Fabregastic as always and Essien was a rock for Chelsea. Lampard was nowhere near these lot.

I actually agree. But although he might have been the best last season overall I think Vidic is the one who does all the dirty work for United. Pretty much the same that Carvalho does for Chelsea, while Terry takes all the credit.

Lampard got his goals last season, but was far from being the best. Essien and Fabregas as you mentioned were better. But then it only counts for CL performances I think, in which both Terry and Lampard did well.

Ramos missed training and gym sessions since the Numancia game. Is expected to be ruled out of Wednesday's game as well. Which means, once again Schuster is going to start Salgado, which means we are going to concede.

I cant understand why he doesnt opt for Torres instead. He is far more reliable than Salgado. Cannavaro might start, so thats a plus.
