i'm out, can't be bothered writing something bigger than a couple of lines as it's school hols

Task:
Write a 150 word+ essay on how you should be in the team and how you could improve in the nets.

Ok,for Starters I did not get out at least four times.I batted very well,I moved my front foot to the pitch of the ball, kept my head straight and started my time in the net defenisvly then after I started to see the ball well I started finding the gaps and placed the ball into them then after I was told I was coming out of the net I started having a bit of fun which is always good in cricket by sloging the bowlers all over the show.
As for the Wides I am a 150 kph bowler and it isnt unusual to let some go down the leg side sometimes, its worth it when I bowled my fellow contenders and produced edges from their bats to the wicketkeeper behind the net.
Therefore I should be in the team because I am a class-all-rounder who scores runs and picks up loads of wickets and a team struggling for talent really needs that plus I think I will be given the captaincy because I have a good cricketing brain and know how to win games.

I admit I batted badly but I hadn't hadn't had a net for a while and was out of touch, I also admit that I got out but normally in my first net of the season I just try to find the middle fo the bat. Anything length of fuller I was really trying to drive and anything back of a length hook/pull/late cut or just drive.

I also got out coming down the track to the off spinner hooper. I went after him 4 times twice big sixes once chipped back to him and the other time stumped. Its my natural routine to bat like that in my first net. I know this was a trial but no player can play without being themselves, chanderpauls trundle across his stumps when he bowls, fidel Edwards John cena ?na bra u cant see me? wicket celebration and the way Kevin pieterson thinks hes going to slow if ehs scoring under a run a ball. You must understand I am a technical batsmen who loves to drive but my opening net I bat like, gilchrist, sehwag and flintoff obviously not as well but with the same aggression.

Sorry this is already 185 words so I will keep my bowling short.

I am a left arm WRIST SPINNER. I felt I did bowl consistently but I turned the ball a long way, ipicked up 7 wickets and 4 could be caughts. The wides came from pitching on off(right hander) and turning down leg. Coming over the wicket its hard to be right all the time and for my first time in a net for 12 weeks I felt dangerous getting dip, drift and serious turn, my wrong-un(googly), top spinner, zooter and flipper all worked perfectly, I am confident for the future cricket ahead.

300 words.
If this is too many I will cut it down please say.

Task:
Yes i admit, i batted bad and bowled shocking but lets face it, i owned the rest of the team on Pokemon. I got my pokemon to level 71! The other boys just couldn't beat it. I promised to give them some pointers then was writing them up and didn't realise the rest of the team was on the field. Its not my fault!
I thought i batted alright though. Its the umpire thats the problem, he so favoured the other team. I wonder if their captain bribed him? I have to remember that next time.
I dont believe those wides were wides, the opposition team probably painted the lines again and made the pitch shorter will i was getting pikachu to pwn the other pokemon.
Although maybe if our lower order pulled their weight we might have done better. I mean the captain only got 171 not out, how does he expect us to win with a total like that!?
Improve in the nets? I dont think pokemon has nets..

Not sure how long that is.

Name: Gazza Dunn
Age: 35
Batsman/bowler/allrounder: Allround fast bowler
EDIT: What i bowl: Left Arm Fast Spin
fielding pos: Wicketkeeper
Why i am good: I bowl quick leggies and got logged at 90mph for one of my googlies. I am an aggressive opening batsman who slogs every ball out of the park.

Well, I don't see how I did terrible. I don't bat or bowl like I've said. I'm a solid third man fielder who can throw the ball really far- I once threw four overthrows :). I bowl extreme slow pace, and, to get that right, is hard. I bowl so agonisingly slow that I get bored halfway through my action and lose concentration, hence getting the wides. Batting is just a joke. Me and my trusty Fearnley legend series colt always come out after a poor net. The only shot I can play is what I like to call a "sloggi" shot. It's like a pull, but timed incredibly early and with a 98% chance of not connecting. But, I was immaculate in my third man practice. Catching practice was dreadful as, the only catches I would take at third man would be the easiest you could get, but I manage to make them look like amazing, athletic catches. So, slip fielding went appallingly as I can't catch anything below head height. I think that's just about it. I can only hope to be picked for the team based on the fact that I'm in the form of my life in the field.

My Attempt;
I didn’t bat very well. That was my chance to make a great impression and I failed. I know I can play so much better. My timing of the ball was all-wrong. I was judging line of the ball all-wrong and being bowled (bit like Michael Vaughn in the roses match.) I should have just tried to put bat on ball and really get a feel for the ball coming on to the bat. To the spinners I need to get forward more many times I was out lbw staying in my crease. My front positing was all wrong my foot was facing the wrong direction so my bat had to go around my pad to get to the ball which took longer. I wasn’t balanced at all my head was always falling over to one side making me sky the ball and being caught I was also fishing for to many.
My Bowling I had absolutely no rhythm at all. It was rubbish. Sending down lots of wides shows the coaches that I have a lack of self-discipline and that is something I have had in Seasons before. My leading arm was all over the place and wasn’t high enough I need to use my height to get bounce and be leaving the batsman know room to play.
